  I truly feel like I have more than just a business relationship with this company. Beneficial State Bank and its employees have been very good to me and my family. I have a lot of experience in the credit and finance industry and realize that this company is a wonderful organization. The staff and the employees (most recently, Andy) have been personable and instrumental in some of my personal successes. I am grateful to be in business with such a reputable company.

  I have taken a few days to gather my thoughts and process not just how amazing this bank is but how truly special they have made me feel as a customer. First and foremost I want to thank someone that I feel truly deserves the recognition and that person is Mrs Megan Wood. From the first conversation we had she has been kind loyal and truly a blessing. Beneficial State Bank is a rare find as they treat customers not just as an account number but a human being. They refinanced my current vehicle from a competitor at 15.87 percent interest rate to 6.99 percent in just 4 months! Then due to life changes and my apartment where I was able to charge my electric vehicle I was forced to move and had no location to charge it nightly. This became a hassle for me as I would walk half a mile to charge it and back each night. When I contacted Mrs Megan Wood she was honest open and kind. She truly went out of her way to help me not only get out of my current car which they had just agreed to refinance but she got me into my dream car!!!! Beneficial State Bank THANK YOU! Megan Wood THANK YOU for making me feel human and making this process not just easy but truly amazing! I was impressed already and then when my dealership spoke highly of Megan and said and I quote “We have never worked with such a kind and easy Bank, We will refer any customer to them we can.” I knew that what I was experiencing was an amazing Bank. So please let me say to Megan Wood, from my heart you are truly special and I wish you and your family and loved ones the best in the future and to Beneficial State Bank, you are truly lucky to have Megan and if this is how you staff then kudos to you.

  Thank you so much for your support Beneficial. The previous lender kept stalling and adding up interest kept changing the payoff. Beneficial called me for support offered help , really was patient and understanding while I was trying to get the previous lender to listen. Every phone call with Beneficial was very pleasant, great customer service.

Beneficial State Bank aligns with our values in sustainability, and was referred to me by a family member who uses them for her small business.   I have been using Beneficial State Bank for my business banking for years, and finally ditched my last ties to Big Banking by moving my personal accounts a couple of years ago. When I opened my business, I wanted a bank that was part of the Oakland community, so I was very happy to discover a bank that was looking to create positive change, rather than be part of the banking problem. My experiences have been great. I talk to real, live people on the phone, the same person later calls me back, there are never any lines in the bank, the tellers are friendly:) Online bill pay is easy and intuitive. The only initial challenge for me with moving my personal accounts was finding ATMs that didn't charge to get money out, but once I figured out the 7-11 near my house has one, that was easy. Earlier this year I applied for a line of credit for my business. Pretty painless as far as this type of process goes. And, most recently, during the COVID-19 crisis, my business, like so many others, was in economic peril. As soon as the CARES Act was passed, I was in touch with Beneficial State Bank, and their amazing team got our application for the PPP in asap. Thank you Beneficial State Bank for being part of the solution!
