  Wendell Lewis and his team at Benchmark Mortgage were outstanding to work with. Being a recently divorced single mother I was extremely nervous to start over as a homeowner. Wendell was professional yet very personal to answer all my questions. He stayed late on occasion to work around my crazy schedule. He is very precise and detailed to insure the job was completed timely and efficiently. During the closing he welcomed me and my family and walked me through the entire process. I am so glad I chose Wendell and his team to assist me in fulfilling the American dream. Wendell is top notch in my book and I highly recommend Benchmark Mortgage -London.

  Wendell Lewis was awesome to work with! We literally bought our house and was moved in within 4-5 weeks! I couldn’t believe how easy the process was. We didn’t run in to any problems. Benchmark and Wendell was very professional, friendly, and fast! We have been in our house on Elk Run since June and we love it. Thanks Wendell!

  Great! This was the first time I purchased a home, and I had a ton of questions. Everyone was always very kind and patient with me and responded to each question - Some they had to answer more than once. They explained things to me that I was unfamiliar with and never made me feel as if they were too busy to be bothered. They responded to phone calls and texts right away. They also helped me gather the many papers required in obtaining a loan and kept me on track so when everything went to the underwriters, I received a quick approval. They worked with me to get the best type of loan for me, and they had competitive terms. (I was checking with several banks, so I know.) I paid nothing down with my loan which was very helpful. Wendell thanked me several times for allowing him and Benchmark to be apart of and to assist me in obtaining my dream home. It was very important to me, and I felt it was just as important to him. I would strongly recommend anyone who is seriously looking for a home to talk with Wendell. He works hard and will stay late when needed to meet your work schedule. I can't express my appreciation enough for all their kindness and grace during the purchase of my home. Wendell and the whole team at Benchmark are wonderful! Be sure to check them out.   I cannot tell you how impressive Wendell is! Is he great at his job? Absolutely. But, his greatest asset is his efficiency and willingness to go above and beyond and then some to get the job done. Within 24 hours, he had me approved for a mortgage. I had been working with a lender who had been “working on it” for over a month. In a week, I was ready to sit at his desk and sign papers. As I shopped for a home lender, this gentleman stood out as a giant among the choices. He was available and quick to reply & answered all questions I had without hesitation. To not use Wendell Lewis at Benchmark would be a mistake, no matter how green the grass of another lender is. He is outstanding. Do yourself the favor you deserve and give him a call. He will ease your mind with his knowledge, honesty and solid southern hospitality.
