  I would give 0 stars if that was an option. Normally, I'm all about keeping it local, but not with Bell Bank. If you like to get threatened, lied TO, lied ABOUT and sued, go ahead and bank here. Or, I recommend Chime. They are all online, there are 0 overdraft fees and you can do everything with them you could with a local branch. If you choose to check out Chime, mention my name. We will both get a deposit in our accounts : )

  We did our mortgage through Bell Bank. The first day we met with our mortgage banker our first question was if our loan would get sold to a bigger bank. They said it would not. The mortgage process went well, they were pleasant to work with, but sold our loan 3 weeks after we got it. We found out from Fannie Mae, Bell did not even tell us. They were nice, but I also don't appreciate being lied to.

  Where do I start? Perhaps with the phenomenal customer service? Or the fact that this was the EASIEST bank to work with for a mortgage loan? It's hard to choose because Angela and Sara were 100% on top of everything. And, given the stress that comes with moving, it was so nice to not feel like I had to follow up and check in and ask what else is needed. Everything was communicated timely, the closing went smoothly, and I'm so happy with the experience, I'll be changing to Bell Bank for my checking and savings account. THANK YOU BOTH!!!!

  It's my favorite bank in Alexandria Minnesota. Super friendly staff and great financial products.

  This bank does not protects its customers from fraudulent charges. Disputed a charge made in a state neither I nor my debit card have ever been to, only to have my dispute denied and being told over the phone “I would receive supporting evidence for the denial in the mail.” The “evidence” came: a letter simply stating my dispute was denied because the charge was found to be valid. Circular reasoning much? How is that evidence by merely stating the charge was found to be valid? I would like supporting documentation from the investigatory process that I sincerely doubt even happened. Also, even if you deposit cash or a check in person at the bank, don’t expect funds to be available to you for a couple days (no matter the amount) in this technologically advanced age. Bell Bank should have a stage coach as its logo as opposed to Wells Fargo, that’s what they use to deliver your funds to you. Will be closing my account and moving to Glenwood State Bank. I advise others that value the security of their accounts to do the same.

  Great bank to do business with. Staff is very helpful and access to funds is not difficult like another bank in town (Bremer). Have been completely happy with every interaction with Bell State Bank.

  They are super nice and super friendly here I just love the bank of Belle
