  This real estate company wasted valuable time in a tough market. (Which is why we chose them to sell our house- they're commercials got us!) Our house closing fell through the day it was supposed to close and they didn't even get the deposit for us. We got nothing from the deal and our house didn't sell. It was clear they didn't care about us. Just a tip: Dont trust 5 star reviews of people who have only left 1 review. Odds are they are from people who work for the company or family or friends.

  We attended a seminar presented by Matt and were so impressed we signed up for his services. We got great advice from his designer/stager and first class service from the contractors he recommended. We followed through with all of his suggestions to make our home saleable and got a full price offer the first week and closed within a month. We are very satisfied with every aspect of the Battiata Real Estate Group! Thanks again Matt!

  Wow - we just went through a brutal and very difficult closing and Matt, Michelle and the rest of the Battiata team worked with us every step of way to get it done. I've always been impressed with Battiata's marketing and advertising in San Diego, but have resisted using them and went with smaller "boutique" agencies. When one of my houses (my mother-in-law's) needed to be sold I listed it with a different agent. He was an awesome guy, but the house didn't get sold. He graciously accepted me going to Matt who I knew by reputation but had never personally met. Even though this was a smallish transaction for San Diego (around 380,000), Battiata worked it like it was a 10MM listing! We had issues with the buyer, I live in another country, and when every problem arose I got a call back and emails immediately and they fixed every problem to finally get it closed today! I've bought and sold a lot of home in my life, I've never worked with an as polished and professional team as the Battiata group. Thank you for going not just the extra mile, but getting a deal done which would not have been possible without your level of professionalism and trust. Thanks Matt and keep up the good work!

  I just short sold my condominium with Battiata as my agent. I was very pleased with their work from start to finish. They were extremely responsive, diligent, competent and hard working. I often received answers to my emails and phone calls well beyond normal business hours. The Battiata team went above and beyond my expectations. I was treated as if I was a huge client and my sale was going to bring Battiata tens of thousands of dollars. Being a short sale, I paid nothing directly for their services, but when I saw how little money they made from my short sale, I was surprised. I couldn’t believe how much time, effort and attention I received. I will definitely use Battiata real estate services when I eventually sell my home and will recommend them to friends and family for future real estate needs.

  My husband and I are pleased with the overall experience! Matt, the owner of Battiata Real Estate Group, and his assistant Laura, were hands-on from the beginning to the end of our home buying process. They're on top of things at all times. Matt worked with our schedules, he was personable, and patient with us in showing us houses and educating us on what to look for in buying a home. Laura worked countless hours and was available even on weekends and after hours. She was even helpful after the closing of our house by providing resources for setting up utilility services.

  I was considering a short sale and I attended a free seminar provided by Matt Battiata back in August of 2011. It was extremely informative and gave me several options. After my bank turned down my request to reconstruct my loan, I listed the property with Battiata to try and do a short sale. The property had multiple offers in the first three days it was for sale and it went into the short sale approval process in about one week. From the beginning to closing, it took just less than 4 months which was a very short time for a short sale to go through. During the months it was going through, the Battiata team provided me with excellent updates on where we were in the process, and patiently answered all of my questions. The contact I had with all of the Battiata staff was positive and pleasant, and this included Matt himself. Although it was regretful to go through this process these people made it as good as it could be and they have taken a very tough load off of my mind in that it sold in a short sale and was not a foreclosure. The short sale has made it possible that I may eventually be able to purchase again in the future, and I highly recommend Battiata Real Estate to anyone who is thinking of doing a short sale. If you are underwater with your home and are undecided on what to do, I especially recommend the seminar. It is an abundance of information and staff there was able to thoroughly answer all of my questions.

  We recently sold our home through Battiata Real Estate Group. It was a short sale and we were told that the process could take several months. It ended up taking 15 months and it was a long road! The primary reason that we selected Matt Battiata was because of the promotional seminar I had attended. Matt said his "team" has done many short sales and are therefore very familiar with the forms and paperwork that go along with them. I want to say that the most helpful and understanding person in the office is Fiel Barrow. They rest of the "team" helped us navigate through the unpredictable short sale process and worked to get escrow closed as soon as possible.

  We used the Battiata Group to short sell our home. The short sale process is a long and difficult process but these real estate professionals made it much quicker and easier than we had anticipated. Matt had experts negotiate the whole process from making a sale in a week (we had offers the first day) to negotiating with Bank of America for the short sale. Matt can handle the whole process through email and phone calls. We even closed from out-of-state. Short selling a home can be an emotionally draining experience. His team understood this and was not only professional and efficient but timely and kind, My wife and I are eternally grateful to Matt and his team for carrying us through this intricate process.
