  I closed on a home a week ago in the Sugar House area of Salt Lake. I called several lenders to see if I could meet with them to discuss buying a home. Even though Mike Medsker was in the Ogden branch, he drove down to meet me at my Salt Lake branch. I was still hesitant but absolutely no other lender could beat their rates. Mike called me anytime I had a question, and my emails were promptly responded. I have no regrets looking at other lenders because I feel confidant that my experience showed me that Mike was the best. I would recommend Mike and Bank of Utah to anyone looking to buy a home.

  The atm shorted me $120. It was after the branch closed so I called customer service to get help. Customer service informed me I need to go back to the branch to get my money during business hours. I do not have an account with bank of utah and customer service knew that. After taking off work early and driving to the branch they could not do anything for me. Very negative customer experience. The main issue is their customer service initially provided incorrect information delaying me getting my money back and wasting my time. They do not take responsibility for their mistakes.

  Mike was AMAZING to work with on the financing and closing for our house! He came through for us on everything and even went the extra mile the night we were closing to make sure everything went as it needed to. We are so thankful for him and would recommend him to everyone!
