  Alyssa went above and beyond to help me even after I had left the location. She resolved my issue and called me to let me know after I had left. I couldn’t believe it, as I have never had such a great customer service experience before. She persisted in helping me after many times of telling her that it was fine. You can tell she really cares about the customers and is absolutely outstanding at taking care of them.

  This place knows exactly what customer service is all about... Quick lines smiling faces and very helpful people.. from the paperwork they needed and the information I did not have Miss Amanda stayed happy positive and got me through it all to open my account and did it in a time I did not think was gonna b possible.... Within one lunch break she got me in and out with everything I needed..... Thank you so much Amanda and the rest of the staff for making this a very pleasant visit and changing my opinion of the banking system... Definitely the only bank I will ever return to

  I LOVE Bank of the West. I've been with them since they took over from UCB (United California Bank), I think in the 70s! They go above and beyond to help you both in your daily dealings and special situations that arise. I had a cashier's check from a very large stock brokerage firm (UBS) and my husband's bank wanted to hold the funds 7 days. Bank of the West made an exception and put it right through! Now, my husband's account is also with Bank of the West.). They have brains, compassion, business understanding and know what customer service is!

  I've been banking with BotW since the mid 90s and my only complaint is their accessibility - would love to see Saturday hours and more local branches. But they're still worth it, more than 20 years later.

  If you like your direct deposits being delayed by 2 or 3 days and dealing with the worst customer service department ever then you will love bank of the west. They handle all transactions as slow as humanly possible. It's been a nightmare. Bank where you will be treated as a customer not a 2nd class citizen.
