Bank of the Finger Lakes - Geneva Reviews

jim bennett1When Wayne Bank recently imposed an annual fee for an atm card , I terminated my account. Also, no Sat hrs, no employee with Medallion power to notarize, no lock box, etc. Cashiers are friendly, others not so much. Spiffy drive-up atm, but one must be in a very high vehicle to reach it.

Amanda Grover1Borrower/Customer beware. Do your homework. After they got our business, everything changed that the Vice President and President said. This dragging things on and on, unprofessional conduct and their one-sided business dealings began even before Wayne Bank bought them out. The transition was horrible (cost of hours upon hours of our time) and we lost many benefits we had after the sale to Wayne Bank. Trying to facilitate a mortgage splitter agreement with them and keep our numerous (10 or so) bank accounts with them has been extremely ridiculous. For simple everyday banking for folks maybe they're an ok choice. For business professionals on the road to continued growth - run, fast! Mr. Franklin does not conduct himself in a professional manner. If something changes and they're able to be responsive and work towards both the bank and our betterment maybe we'll consider a change in the rating but we're pretty doubtful of that at this point. Side Note: After closing a large deal with them, we have brought them 3 purchases we've made sense and they couldn't get anywhere near competitive on rate/terms so we closed with other banks. I think Bank of the Finger Lakes was obviously failing before they had to be bought out by Wayne Bank...and the current leadership in that branch is well below par.

Mark B. Benya1May 2nd: This bank has been downgraded to a 1 star institution. The legal representation for Bank of the Finger Lakes (Mike Roulan) has failed to meet deadlines repeatedly, and has ignored questions from my attorney regarding the confirmation of dollar amounts that will be distributed at the completion of this business transaction. Overall I am very disappointed with how this entire exchange has been handled by both the bank's internal staff and the bank's legal council. ___________ April 1st: I have a pending business transaction with USNY - Bank of the Finger Lakes. Per my experiences with the vice president to date I rate them as a 1.5 star financial establishment, Google does not allow for increments of 0.5 so I am required to give 2 stars. Should the finalization of the 225-227 Pulteney sale, and subsequent disbursement of funds to myself (as well as all to involved Parties) continue to drag on, I will be forced to downgrade my rating to 0 stars. Unfortunately this is not an option currently offered by the Google Review system, so the USNY - Bank of the Finger Lakes will receive a 1 star rating by default.

GLENDON MARTIN4So far I have been with the bank for a few years now and was pleased with there service . Especially when I was starting out and had little to no credit and they gave me a loan when other banks wouldn’t even look at me . And if they were open on Saturday they would get a full five star review
