  I really thought using a smaller bank would be better. I could not have been more wrong. This bank has been horrible since day one. It seems they forget that the money in the bank is actually the customers not theirs. There have been NUMEROUS times in the time we’ve banked there that we have been unable to access our money because of a “glitch” in their system that take sometimes multiple days to remedy. I also felt talked down to being that I was the “wife” of the main account holder. When we opened our account the woman just ASSUMED the man was in charge when I actually handle all of our banking and finances. It was horrible to try to conduct business without having my husband call who didn’t have a clue what was going on. Old fashioned bank, old fashioned mentality I suppose. I believe it is all locations of this bank as they are local.

  Bank of Old Monroe has been our family's bank for literally decades. From first car purchases to business loans, they have been there every step of the way. I could not imagine banking anywhere else. Thanks BOOM!!

  Absolutely worst bank ever, I have to wait two days after I’m paid to access my money. Always issues with the online/mobile bank app. I will definitely be going to a different bank.

  Huge shout out to Emma, Stephanie and Charla at the Troy location. Emma is so knowledgeable and friendly. She helped get my new bank account started. Stephanie took the time to explain everything in great detail and opened my new business checking account. Very friendly and personable. Charla and I had a great conversation, too. I look forward to working with BOOM in several capacities. I would highly recommend them.

  I used this bank for my small business and it was horrible! I was treated like a little kid the entire time. I was never offered any services and denied services for no reason at all. Using this bank has been nothing but a pain. If you need help they really do not care. I talked to the branch manager Dalton gilbert to express my concerns and he laughed at me and belittled me. He actually told me to use a different bank, so I think I will!

  We just moved to the area, and of course had to find a new bank. After reading reviews online, and doing research, we decided to give Bank of Old Monroe our business. So glad we found them! They are the nicest people!! Kudos to Ginger, getting our family set up! She is the best!! Thank you!

  We not only bank with this amazing bank, but we also just recently did a home loan through them!! Their staff is so incredible! They will help you at the drop of a hat!! I have never had a bank that goes to extreme for you like bank of old Monroe!! We wouldn't bank anywhere else!!

  I love this bank and proud to call it my hometown bank! Every one is so nice and the banks are all super clean! I never have a problem and even when I've made an error on my account they help me understand where the error was and how or what my choices are to make sure it dont happen again!! Thank you BANK OF OLD MONROE for everything you do!!!
