  My husband and I just opened an account here and have had the worst experience with these people. We are remodeling our house and they REFUSE to let us spend our own money. They put a $500 limit on my card and force me to call in and raise the limit every single time I go shopping. The first time it happened was so embarrassing! Getting declined at the grocery store with plenty of money in the bank! The finally straw was today. I raised my limit to $10000 to shop for the remodel and they just called to tell me they cancelled it. They lowered it to $1000. One sink is $1000! I can't even spend my own money!!!!! I'm honestly scared. UPDATE: We haven't had a chance to move our money yet. We went on vacation and had our cards decline, we have no idea why. We can't even call the bank because they have no service on the weekends. We hadn't spent any money and I have plenty of money. These people are halting my remodel and destroying our vacation. The most terrible people I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. UPDATE: I started pulling all of our money out of the bank and they charged us an excessive withdrawal fee!!!! Update: we finally got all of our money out of the account and the bank teller was unbelievably rude! SHE RAISED HER VOICE AT ME, talked over me, and insulted me when I asked for proof the account was closed. No paperwork!

  Entirely incapable. Refuse to raise the daily limit to something reasonable for a mid-income family. They refuse to raise the limit above $1000, even that took a lot of haggling and arguing. Trying to get it raise above that was met with a strict "no" from the bank manager. Them denying a boat rental while we were at the lake was the last straw. They say we can always call them to raise the limit temporarily but he problem has been and always will be that they close at 2:30, long before most get out of work, and aren't really open on the weekends(same as most banks but most allow your limit to be above 1000) The other major issue is that, I have gotten quite used to being able to do most of my day to day banking online. What these guys have on offer barely meets the minimum requirement to be considered "online banking". You have your balance (which may or may not reflect all actual pending items) and you have transfers between accounts (which count towards your excessive withdrawal amounts. (BoA has NEVER done this). We went back to my previous bank and I am adding my wife to the account. We thought this bank would be great because it was close to home. Bottom Line: This is a bank for low income families, not for middle class to upper class families. If you buy groceries per month instead of per day, this is not the bank for you, you will spend more time asking to use your own money than actually using it. Keep that in mind before signing.
