Bank of America (with Drive-thru ATM) Reviews

Erika Allen1If I could have rated a zero I would have. Ever since this pandemic when you decided Granby, Connecticut wasn't important, I can't get any services. If I want to withdrawal from the ATM it's out of money. If I want to deposit a check it says bot possible. Now I even tried the mobile banking app to deposit a check and you say it's a different amount from the check. I need this money now not in a week when I can get a ride! I can't even get a live person on a telephone or get a reopening date for this location. I'm definitely switching banks after this. Bank of America sucks!!!

Tommy Two Shoes1I wanted to do ZERO stars. I'm 73 years old and I have frequented many banks in multiple states over the years moving many times because of work but this is the absolute worse bank ever for many reasons. Every time I walk in I feel like I'd get treated in a used car lot, plus it's always new people and a new manager...and they always try to get you to buy or invest in something. I switched 3 of my accounts to another bank in town and absolutely love them... they always make me feel welcome, all very friendly and super helpful... and the same people. I will be closing my last 2 accounts and switching them over very soon... I just cringe every time I have to step foot in Bank of America....oh by the way...15-20 years ago it seemed much better so I don't know why it has changed so much since.

RP McCabe4UPDATED AT BOTTOM: The walk-up ATM at this bank lost 1100 in 100 dollar bills. I tried to deposit $4700 cash at this ATM and it said I only put in $3600. I took it back out and deposited it inside and told them about the problem. I counted the money before going to the ATM and I am sure that it lost my money. I made a claim, they said the extra cash was never found in the ATM. Be careful with this ATM when depositing cash. UPDATE BELOW: UPDATE: I made a claim over the phone, they gave me a "temporary credit" for the amount that I claimed. Then later sent me a letter saying they would take away the claimed temporary credit because the money had not been accounted for in the machine. I had to call again in order to dispute it because I was sure that I had lost money in this ATM. I was told then on the phone that it was strange because they had not done a manual review of the money put into the machine and that it was scheduled to be done with in the next ten days. Then finally, I received a second letter confirming that the money I claimed was correct and I was given "permanent credit". The machine I put money into had somehow stuffed it somewhere where it couldn't be counted within the machine, and when they took out the money box, (55 days later) the money was found after a manual review. Main lessons taken away, don't do cash deposits at ATM's. Do not trust the machines or at least put in your bills one at a time so it doesn't mess it up. Best thing to do is count your money at the counter as you hand it to the teller bill by bill. I thought I was loosing my mind, I will make sure nothing close to this will ever happen to me again.

Robert Hart1I had bank of america and left due to poor customer service. Today I went to cash a check given to me for a birthday present from an account holder from bank of America. Because I don't have an account they want to charge me $8.00 to process the check. Just another reason to not use bank of america.

Keith Taylor1Worst bank around. Poor customer service on top of being outright thieves. These people should be in prison. Avoid this place at all costs. Try the nice new Liberty Bank across the street with honest and decent people

Carl Rosensweig1Worst bank in existence. Pure thieves who take money from people who can least afford it. This location has been closed since the pandemic and you can’t even bank with a human anymore. Stay away at all costs. I’ll be switching banks ASAP.

Popular Culture1Poor customer service. Not a community bank. Surprise service fees and fees and fees. Bait and switch account fees. Lots of fees. Go find another bank or credit union.
