Randal Nolan1I’ve been with BOA since I was 15 years old, and the service that I received today was so terribly shocking, that I almost lost my faith in humanity. And not just I, the way teller spoke to the elderly couple in front of me was disgusting. No matter how much money you have or what you do for a living, you shouldn’t be judged or discriminated against. The teller was so short with me like it was a burden to do the simple task of helping me with my coinage, when she’s actuality getting paid for it. The end result was her referring me to another branch in Port Charlotte which I usually go to but it had been temporarily closed due to Covid. So I did indeed go there where I was greeted with a smile and the teller helped me with everything so well that satisfactory does not capture how well he served. I only hope that whatever those people were going through at the Punta Gorda branch, to make them treat me and other customers so unkindly, turns out okay so if there ever was a next time (and it’d have to be an emergency at this point) that they would be kinder and more helpful in doing their choice of work. I’m not even a member of Sun Trust and they met my needs better than my own bank, and did it with a smile. So thank you to them. And to Bank of America, to entitle yourself with having our country name in your name, if it were war we would have lost by the way you represented it.

Julie Anne1Horrible! Sooo extremely disappointed with Bank of America! Especially this location! I've been a customer for over 10 years. Went in to this location to have my signature witnessed, also making a deposit at the same time. The teller wouldn't do it, called the manager and the manager (who, by the way has no customer service skills and is a manager??) rudely refused with no explanation. Absolutely horrible branch. The atm doesn't accept deposits! How is that even possible? BOA closed one Punta Gorda and one Port Charlotte location in the last month. How does a customer make a cash deposit?! This bank really has taken the customer out of customer service. Do yourself a favor, don't bank here!!

Lois Hamilton1I had to make transactions at this bank again today.Punta Gorda on Olympia Ave. if it’s possible to make your customers feel unwelcome these employees have made it an art form. I’ve been there other times when there are 10 to 13 people waiting in line (at this no drive up bank). The people behind the counter and others seemingly just walking around have no sense of urgency. If they could move any slower they would be frozen in time. Maybe they feel like Bank of America is treating them badly and they’re just exhibiting their disdain for everyone to see. It’s a very bad reflection of BOA.

salvatore ialuna1This is why I would rather drive the extra 15 mile and go into Port Charlotte. They lock the door befor e 4PM!! A customer was walking out and I held up my phone showing 3:59. Horrible service at this location.

Chet Neice5The management at this bank has always been extremely helpful. After being a long-time customer they have established a hometown feeling when we go in the Bank front Doors & are welcomed by name. Mira and the staff are top notch we wouldn’t take our banking needs anywhere but here.

Michael1Before you open up an account at Bank of America you might want to read this. On June 1st I made a credit card payment of 3800 but accidentally double clicked paying double what was owed leaving me with only 200 dollars in my checking I called Bank of America of the accident and they notified me that the second payment would be returned back to my checking account in a few days. On June 7th the bank charge me twice for insufficient funds in the amount of $70 dollars and even bounced my mortgage payment. I’ve called at least 6 times to resolve this issue. On three occasions the operator stated that I should receive the refund in 2 days, and on one occasion I asked to talk to a supervisor . The operator actually told me she could not find one and that I should call back in a couple of hours.... Really! It is now June 12th with still no resolution. I have no idea how I’m going to pay my mortgage with them holding my money. On May 14, 2021. Bank of America was fined and had to pay a 75 million dollar settlement for excessive feels. You can Google it, You might want to think twice before opening an account with this bank. I would hate to see anyone have to go through this. As a retired person living on a budget this makes this even tougher. Good luck!

Bosslady Suazo1So disappointed with the service i got today from mayra the young lady in the front desk. I came here to see about getting a new card and since i didn't have an appointment i was told to wait 20mins. I seat in there waiting for about 15mins and i told her i would sit in my car instead and when i came back inside she had gaven my appt spot to someone else. So i got nothing done and i wasted my time. I would rather go to another branch just as long as i great the service i deserve.

Adriane Payne1This location is the worst! Either their atm is out of order and they only have one teller at a time. Lines are always super long but they have about 3 people sitting in offixes never doing anything. The rent a cop they have is a joke. I despise this Bank Response: I took my banking needs else where. Kenny Jobst1Worst branch in the history of Bank of America! Went here today (11-29-18) to withdraw from my checking account. I get inside and there is only one teller working. There is also a line to the door! After waiting close to 30 minutes I finally reach the counter after watching several customers walk out! So I swipe my debit card and apparently it has been cancelled? So the inept manager walks over finally and says she will help me. This is the same lady who stood watching the lone teller work by himself, rather than help alleviate the long wait! So instantly she has a attitude and asks for my ID. I give her the only ID I have which every other bank of America has taken, but she refuses to take it. So another lady comes over and says she will help resolve it. This lady calls the branch I usually bank at in promenades port Charlotte, to verify my identity. Mind you I showed her the bank app on my phone, had my account number and routing number, and my social security card. Nope, didn't matter, after a hour of nonsense I'm told they can't help me! I was there to withdraw money to pay our rent to prevent being evicted! The hour I wasted at this branch prevented me from paying our rent. We ended up going to port Charlotte to the promenades location, where I received the best service I've ever had! Do not, I repeat, do not ever go to this location! Largest branch in the county, with the least amount of tellers, inept and ignorant employees!

mitchel b. nash2The worst design drive thru I have ever seen at a bank. HORRIBLE drive thru branch of Bank Of America! I arrive in my standard pick up truck, Do my banking in the required lane and newer after hours mobile machine that seems to be set in the middle of a parking lot. As I exit, there is only one way of exiting the parking lot, thru the drive thru part of the building which is obviously very tight, as you can tell by all the random colors of paint against the building pillars from car mirrors.
