chell crouch1Not helpful. I am constantly told I need to take care of things online when I go into the branch to handle problems on my account. The wait times have been steadily getting longer. I have been with Bank of American for over 30 years and am finally making the move to another bank. The decline of Bank of American was happing long before COVID and have been worsen by the pandemic but are in not wise resulting from the pandemic.

lalala_ singingsoul1I've been a customer for 19 years and it's always frustrating (at this location) where I can never deposit money in the ATM. I work during their operating hours, so I can't come in to the teller. But it's the same thing EVERY TIME I COME TO THE ATM. It's frustrating and inconvenient.

Jesse H2This branch has very friendly staff, but there are not enough of them…and it’s getting worse. I have to cash a change order check every week, so it means standing in line with the one teller working. Can’t use the ATM because it is a change order for my work. Sometimes it only takes 5 minutes, but at least once a month it takes over 30 minutes standing in line waiting for a single teller to get through the line.

Carol Snedden1new retired residents. Drove to this bank to inquire about opening an account and long line outside. Doors not open and it was after 10. Folks were getting upset and saying how lousy this bank was, etc. Man at the front must have been on telephone with someone inside. He announced they weren't going to open the door? Why would anyone bank here. Went down the road to a real service bank.

B G1BOA is sliding down a slippery slope and this is probably the worst location. First they have shut down all drive up lanes and push you to use the ATM or Mobile. I’m 30, work at a financial institution and very tech-savy, however there are some transactions you prefer to handle in person. I came to this location to find out they now open at 10am. That’s fine but on a Monday morning at opening there needs to be more than one teller. I was told I could go to the ATM to make my cash withdrawal, I am withdrawing 10k for a roof, why and how would I use the ATM. I would write a check however I’m saving by paying in cash and they acted like it was an act of Congress to withdrawal cash. The location closest to my house recently shut down, along with several other locations and I’m starting to understand why.

D Johnson1They have Poor customer service everything I go in, not at all like the Portsmouth branches. They almost never have appointments, and I was given a 2 hour window to be seen which helped me with making my mind up on closing my account. This branch was once the only one I would go to because of its strong customer service, and over the past few years you will notice how they treat people. I am not impressed at all with how it has declined.

Michelle Parker1All the ATMs were under construction, so I had to go inside the bank. I was the only customer inside. No one said hello or got off the phone. Patrick, the teller, never looked up to greet me...Instead he continue to count stacks of money in the counting machine. He did this for at least 5 minutes. So, I went to get the manager, James. James told me that Patrick will be with me when he gets time. Hmmm....when he gets time. Well I'll be sending a formal letter to their bosses and lets see if someone I this town can start getting some decent customer service. These two by far were the most disrespectful people I've ever encountered in a bank!!!

Dermot Killian1Truly the worst BOA branch I have ever dealt. Far cry from the service I received at the South Portland branch in Maine. It was superb. Fast forward to Suffolk branch office. Required a notary service. Refused at first until I advocated for myself and had to go so far as to suggest I would move my assets elsewhere. It seems it is below their dignity to provide this measly service. This has happened twice. Preferred customer status did not help. Eventually got the service through the intervention of a Ms A... bless her heart. Promote her and as far other two back to charm school.

Craig V2Terrible service at this location. I tried to cash their own cashier's check and was told that they do not cash their own checks since I did not have an account with them. They said it was a national policy. I called another Bank of America 5 miles away and they said I could cash it there without any problems and they never heard of this national policy. I used to have an account with them. This type of service is the only reason we cancelled our accounts and moved elsewhere. Too bad I didn't live closer to the other Bank of America where they don't lie. I would have kept my accounts.
