John McDormett1I was going to open a student account for my kid. Advised I needed to go into branch. 6/24/22 Willow Creek branch closed, found out due to "Covid". No-its because they don't want to hire more people despite making billions and despite closing the downtown branch. Chase and Wells Fargo seem to be able to keep multiple branches open. I'm done with them. Not only are they losing my kid's account and a potential for a lifetime of business, after several years I AM pulling all my accounts and going with one of the other two. AND BOA don't bother responding about how you're sorry or care unless it's to say you are reopening immediately.
Response from the ownerHi. Hours in some financial centers have been adjusted on a case-by-case basis, based on many factors. Our website is updated real-time as locations reopen. Eric Zimmer1The only branch with people in it was closed on Tuesday the day after Memorial Day 2022. How can this be? Why should I continue to bank here? You only have one branch in all of Prescott and now it’s closed. Either commit to serving Prescott and have AT LEAST one adequately staffed branch, or close down all banking services in Prescott, put us out of our misery, and move on to another banks that DOES care.
Response from the ownerHi Eric, we apologize for any inconvenience. Some locations may either be temporarily closed or operating at limited hours. Here is a link that can help you quickly find your nearest locations and hours: https://locators.bankofamerica.com/. ATMs in most financial centers are available 24/7. kelcie vanderheyden1This is absolutely ridiculous. My work received a call before Christmas stating that they would be closed for a week and would re-open on January 4th. That was not true as it is January 20th and they have not re-opened. The times online keep changing as if they will open but it's all a lie. I have deposits to make and receipts to pick up. The only BofA that is "open" is in PV which does not work for my schedule. I understand that they may be shored staffed but this is so unnecessary.
Response from the ownerHi Kelcie. Thanks for the feedback and we’ll certainly be sharing your feedback with our leadership team. We apologize for any inconvenience. Some locations may either be temporarily closed or operating at limited hours. Reed Spangler1Constantly and seemingly randomly "temporarily closed". And since they closed down the downtown branch only option is all the way to Prescott Valley. My advice...Avoid BofA if at all possible!
Response from the ownerHello, Reed. It's disappointing to hear that your experience wasn't at the level you expected, and we’ll certainly be sharing your feedback with our leadership team. tracey ramsey1Last week went into lobby 13 people in line, with 0ne teller to service . I did walk out. Went in today to pay my Visa bill, was informed by teller of on line services, keep in mind just one of teller available ad line grew. My husband was next in line to make a withdrawal gave teller his ID she told him he needed his phone to receive a text, which he didnt have available Since when is an ID not sufficient. I have found over the last 5 years BOA has lost there walk in customers service. This includes my home state of NC.The reason I continue with them is my investments are with Merrill lynch. NOTE TO MANAGEMENT THE AGING PEOPLE OVER 50 ARE THE ONES WITH THE MAJORITY OF WEALTH MAYBE YOU SHOULD SERVICE THEM.
Response from the ownerHi, Tracey. We are sorry that we did not meet your expectations and know that your time is valuable. We appreciate you coming in and you may be able to save time in the future by using an ATM or our mobile app. Signing up is simple: https://www.bankofamerica.com/online-banking/mobile-and-online-banking-features/overview/. Michael1Before you open up an account at Bank of America you might want to read this. On June 1st, I made a credit card payment for the amount owed but accidentally double clicked and instead of paying the 3800 that was due. I paid it twice leaving me with only 200 dollars in my account. I notified Bank of America with the accident right away and they notified me that second payment that was overpaid would be returned to my checking account in a couple of days. On June 7th Bank of America dinged me twice for insufficient funds for the total amount of $ 70 dollars and bounced my mortgage payment. I called at least 6 times to resolve the matter, and on 3 occasions the operator stated the money would be refunded back to my account in a couple of days. On one occasion I asked to talk to a supervisor. The operator told me she could not find one and that I should call back in a couple of hours..... Really! It is now June 12th and still no resolution. Cant pay any bills with them holding my money. Have no idea how I’m going to pay my mortgage On May 14, 2021 Bank of America was fined and had to pay a settlement of 75 million dollars for excessive fees. You can Google it. You might want to think twice before opening an account. I would hate to see anyone go through this. It makes it double tough being retired and on a budget. Good luck.

Abigail Willemse1Tried to stop in and get some deposits processed as well as withdraw some money to get ready for the holidays. Of course they're closed at 2pm in the day, no signs, no explanation, and why would they? This branch has the worst customer service and the reputation to go with it. Anytime I walk in, if its open, there are at least 8-10 people waiting on one teller with 3-4 employees doing absolutely nothing. My husband and I are moving to Chase or Wells Fargo because they have absolutely no initiative to serve their customers. Absolute amateurs.

Rich Roberts2BOA taking advantage of the COVID by closing branches, only having one teller even though they have six teller stations. Easy to use social distancing and have at least two tellers. Why can’t they have both locations open in Prescott? It’s not like people stopped putting money in their bank! The manager was also pretty rude when a customer asked about the one teller. This is the way BOA is forcing people out of the bank to go fully electronic/online banking and not have to pay tellers etc!

Darkene Seng1They’ve been unable to keep their doors open. Poorly managed.
