  We have used Austin Bank in Gilmer for many years and always have good results. There were a couple of young tellers that never smiled or said thank you, but I don't think they are there now. Our banking needs have always been taken care of satisfactorily. Friendly employees would help any business.

  I recently got a mortgage through Austin Bank in Gilmer. They were amazing! Mr. Smith helped me fill out the needed paperwork and was excellent to work with. My closing was on time and everyone at this branch was extremely helpful and friendly. If you are buying a home definitely consider them for your home loan. Just ask for Mr. Smith!

  I used their atm to help a friend. I had to contact him and left the card in for a short time. The machine started beeping then confiscated my card for "security purposes". I ordered a new card. My former friend was VERY angry about the whole thing and his ins fees associated.

  Friendly and helpful professional staff that can take care of all your banking needs. The drive-through is generally quick and efficient. The lobby is clean, bright and inviting. The staff greets you immediately upon arrival . The parking lot is small but adequate for this small banking branch. Easy in and out.

  Austin bank in gilmer texas sucks.....people are rude and do not help the customer....I will not go back to that bank for any kind of help with my account .......I do not recommend anyone to use the Gilmer location ...

  Charge customers to fax papers; charged customers to notarized paperwork; very rude and unwelcoming. Unfriendly...we will be switching to a different bank.
