  Melissa was very easy to work with. She helped us stay on top of the many documents that are needed for this process. She was willing to make the phone calls, send the emails and retrieve documentation that my wife and I were just to busy to get to at times. I highly recommend Augusta Mortgage and Melissa.   We are so thankful to have met Shelly Campbell in our home buying process. We were originally going to go through a local bank but the customer service and communication was poor.   Recently closed on my first home and was working with Les and the team at Augusta Mortgage Company. I had spoken to other lenders previously, but none were as prompt, helpful, and thorough as this group! Really made this whole process smooth- and in the middle of a pandemic at that. Would encourage anyone to work with them.

  The loan process was a crazy process. Them saying I’m all set, them coming back and asking for more items (not once but twice). And when I made a mortgage payment, they would not allow me to send in extra funds to apply to the principle! I would NOT recommend them to anyone! I I could give a negative number for the review, it would be -1.

  Very nice place to go if you have a desire to buy a home. Usda loans for first buyers are good. Or a conventional loan if you have already owned a home in the past. Very nice people. They work hard for you.
