      Affinity plus used to be a nice place to bank I have been a member for almost 20 years. This place has gotten significantly worse for me in the last 2 years. They are constantly denying me for everything even though I have sufficient income and credit score is decent. They deny me for loans and other places give them to me with no questions asked. I have 100% perfect payment history with affinity and I'm still denied credit. I have a relationship with affinity and still denied credit. Now today they rejected a check that I deposited. Their policies are getting worse and worse. I will be seeking another bank to transfer everything over. I want to find a bank that actually values me like affinity used to.

      I cannot say enough good things about the team at Affinity plus. I recommend them to literally everyone I know and I will continue to do so. Awesome service, awesome staff and awesome rates. I’ve done multiple last minute loan applications right before they close and they have helped me immensely every time. Thank you for everything you do for your members !

      Worked through the online customer service in getting a new car loan last month and it all went well working with Eric. He did a great job so kudos to him but dealing with whomever it was after the fact to process my loan and finalize at the dealership, gave me the complete wrong monthly payment for my new car that I wanted to be around (off by almost $150 per month) and now my account is considered "delinquent" because the payoff amount was short and nobody has emailed or said anything. I was told everything was good to go and correct when finalizing the deal and the dealership had all the money and everything they needed from the bank so I shouldn't have had worry about anything. Well now I got an email today stating it's way past late and I can't even see ANYTHING via phone app or online my my account showing me that or allowing me to pay it off. Mislead on the numbers per month and extremely unhappy with how it ended. Again, kudos to Eric for doing a great job but whoever took over after seriously messed up and didn't communicate properly. I've been using affinity since highschool for every loan and card and now after this incident I might have to reconsider banking with them. Unbelievable how this happened and I have no email communication or copy of anything portraying my monthly amount with the new vehicle. I do understand the new vehicle I picked out was more in general but after finalizing the tax total and everything was okay to purchase and I was told $415 per month, clearly that wasn't correct at all.

      Open 9-4 during the week, closed on weekends...people who work traditional hours are absolutely screwed banking with them. Inconvenient hours and locations. I will be switching banks.

      Terrible place to bank they charge 25$ for your business and don't offer any special features if I didnt wait two hour to setup the account to find that out I would have not went there, go to wings financial credit union instead they offer a bonus referral and this place charges you even if somebody referred you I wish I never closed my account there now

      I got a loan for a motorcycle,went smooth until I had too pay it off. You cannot pay it off online,you cannot go too any location and pay it off,even with cash. (thanks COVID) YOU need a check? A check you say? It's 2020 I think they can do better,not even over the phone??? I mean sure security and stuff I get it,I was very disappointed and now that I mailed it in,probably pay more in interest!!! Then too get a pay off letter I have to back to your location? This is poor customer service,Thanks!!! (I did call,you can’t make payment by phone or online or a one time ACH payment)

      I sold a car recently and thought nothing of it when the dealership cut the check to the two names on the title (myself and my mother). We both signed the check and I remotely deposited it through the app only to have it rejected with some vague reason about the named individuals are not on the account (we both have separate accounts). After calling into the bank I was informed that the ONLY way to deposit a check is for us to both show up in person with drivers licenses. When I asked if we could show up at separate branches to authenticate or could she call in and authenticate over the phone to approve the deposit, I was informed that it would be "illegal" for them to accept the check for deposit by any other means (I have a lot of trouble believing that showing up at 2 different sites would be illegal). On top of this, Affinity Plus has decided to have the most inconvenient hours for those of us that are working full time making it very difficult to accomplish the simple act of a deposit. The last 4 times I have needed customer service over the past several years have either gone unresolved, I've had to solve it myself, the person helping is clueless or probably the worst is when I went in to get a new card issued and they literally handed me a new debit card in someone else's name and on their account. As it takes time and effort to change banks, I will be closing my account within 3 months and quicker if able. This is actually sad for me as when I started, Affinity's customer service was truly top notch. It's unfortunate they have lost it. Also, this feedback is across all of Affinity Plus so I will be reposting this review on the locations I have visited and have had issues with.

      Best bank ever! I live on Plymouth and I know there isn't a location in the West Suburbs but that's OK. Best bank ever! I love their app. I deposit checks all the time with it and checking my balance is simple and convenient. I have gotten 3 loans from them and done everything over the phone and through emails! How awesome is that! I needed a check mailed out for me and customer service did it without charging a check fee and even paid the postage to mail it for me. Do you think TCF or US Bank would do that? Fee for the check and postage out of your account that's what. I'll say it again... BEST BANK EVER!

      My wife went to deposit a check, they apparently aren’t taking checks right now..? What kind of bank does not handle checks? Isn’t that a basic function of a bank? I understand accommodations need to be made for a pandemic, but people NEED to be able to use their bank for banking purposes.

      Very upset how inaccessible they have been during Covid. So many places are open but them. I don’t want to hear how the furthest one from me is open. I feel stranded by my credit union and have to take time off work just to deposit cash.
