  I work at a law office where I have many dealings with lenders, brokers, realtors, buyers and sellers. Information from each party is needed to make a smooth transaction. Everyone at Atlantic must have their phones attached to their hip as I get a response immediately whether it be a request or a question - no matter what time it is or day of the week. They are wonderful to work with.

  I have never dealt with such incompetence in my 11 years of real estate. I would never use this company and specifically John Del Greco. He killed our deal. He lied. Told us all that needed to be done was for our Clear to Close to be acknowledged, a week and a half past scheduled closing date, only for me to find out that the lender who was out of state, didn't even know we were out of contract. Told us they were too buried with business to get us cleared to close while my Sellers were living out of boxes and the Buyer is now homeless living with relatives. All the while, telling me he understood. Chastising me. The lender DID not have all conditions cleared. We ended up moving to a new lender and will close in 3 weeks and I am beyond grateful that they won't get the business. BUYER BEWARE.

  It is disappointing that we could not close the loan for our client. We were literally hours away from closing but we were advised that an extension was not an option. Unfortunately, there have been many delays in processing loans during COVID-19. Processing and Underwriting times for most lenders have slowed considerably during the pandemic. We put you in direct contact with the lender who confirmed directly with you that the FHA underwriter for our file only needed us to document, per FHA guidelines, a large deposit made by the buyer and to make a simple correction to the purchase contract. They committed to expediting the review of these documents and estimated our closing approximately three business days after they received the requested items. Rather than work together to close the loan in a few days you decided to pull the plug and make the client wait several weeks. We have a sister Real Estate Brokerage with over 20 Agents and been advised to manage clients' expectations during these unprecedented times.
