They will not give you adequate help to keep your balance above $0 if you're a kid and you don't have too much money. It says I have money available..I spend it..then somehow I'm in the negative even tho I had enough in both the current and available slots. All the branches have shut down and I'm not surprised this has always been a terrible experience and they have constantly taken money from me, it's a ridiculous $30 charge basically the moment it goes under $0..I go to put money in it 15 minutes later and they have already charged me a bogus NSF fee. Literally on my way to close my account as I type this message.

This was a very disappointing experience. My loan officer, Olivia Waldrip, was great to work with and communicated very well in a helpful manner. If she was the only representative from this company that I had to work with then I am certain it would have gone smoothly. Then came the time to physically go in to the Peachtree Corners branch to meet with the “loan processors” to have the check released to me so that I could pay the dealer. I arrived with all of the signed documents that they had requested. The ladies working in the loan processing department were unwilling to speak to the dealer on the phone to communicate what they were requesting completely different documents once I was there in person. They also said that the dealer needed to process the title with the state releasing it to them as the owner BEFORE he received the check from them. I had copies of the title (in the dealers possession) where he had signed for them to be the lien holder on the actual title. They began having a very negative attitude with me once we were asking for an explanation of why they suddenly were requiring for the dealer to come into their branch himself to pick up the check and requiring him to bring ALL of the original copies of the documents. I expressed to the lady (loan processor) that I was leaving and would likely be cancelling my loan with them and she MADE ZERO ATTEMPT to help save my business. TAKE YOUR MONEY TO A COMPANY THAT ACTUALLY VALUES THEIR CUSTOMERS BECAUSE ASSOCIATED CREDIT UNION DOES NOT.

I was planning on switching all of my banking to them after hearing such great reviews. I started the application in JULY and they have been the worst at communicating. I have had to call more than 5 times and each time I’ve been told everything is ok and they “leave” a note for the person in new accounts to contact me. I just got off the phone with Marie and nothing still has been done. After almost 3 months it’s excuses after excuses and terrible customer service. I will be looking elsewhere.

I have been a member of this credit union since 1989. I think the services they provide are truly outstanding. I highly recommend this credit union based on their customer relations, their ability to serve its members in all banking activities, and the professional and courteous manner in which they respond to requests for assistance. Keep up the great work you do and I will be happy to recommend the Associated Credit Union to anyone who needs banking services and anyone who is eligible for membership. Thank you for being here to serve all your current members and those who sign up with you.

Today I walked into the Associated Credit Union after my co-worker told me I could withdraw from my Delta Credit Union. However I had the worse customer experience. Upon entering the bank was welcome by bank teller John. I didnt not have my Delta member number as a result, I called Delta and the rep walked me through my mobile App on how to access my member #. After getting my number I filled out the withdrawal slip and headed back to John. John search for my number and handed back the receipt to me and said he couldnt find my account. I asked him how? This man could not even open his mouth or explain why he just handed the slip back ro me. After walking out I called Delta Credit Union to confirm my member number and the knowledgeable Rep told me it was my member number. I asked her why then the man at associated credit said he could access my number? she said because my account is not linked to associated credit and couldnt use the sharing privileges. I wonder why JOHN WHO HAS BEEN WITH THE COMPANY SINCE 1993 if I remember well could not just explain to me as to why I couldnt withdraw $1500 from my saving account than me feel like was trying to steal money from someones account. I refused to have my account linked to this branch as they dont know how to treat customers. All I wanted was my money and not a bad customer experience.

Worst credit Union in the world. I have 850 beacon so def have options. I can't wait to change my loan to a different company. Rates are good but the employees have no clue. Technology is also stone age. You Must make a phone call to setup Auto draft or do anything easily accomplished electronically. Then you will be directed to snail mail whatever you have to the main branch and they will get back to you in 7-10 days. I'm not a picky person and I never leave reviews but this place needs to make changes or close their doors.

Been a member for many years, have several accounts. Very happy with them. Was surprised at the bad comments but suspect it has to do with the individuals credit worthiness, how they handle their finances.

      Response from the owner

I've been with ACU for 8 years now. They used to be great but slowly over time things started changing. Fees are piling up that were never there before such as the fee I get every month just because I dont use their bill pay system. Then I started to get charged on my debit card whenever I actually used it as a debit card instead of a credit card- which it's not. Not to mention if you ever have an overdraft for any reason and multiple things get pulled out of the account at once - it's a 30$ fee PER CHARGE. I've finally reached my tipping point yesterday when I called to tell them my card was lost and I would need a new one. They told me to come in and just get a new one from one of their branches. I explained I'm a frontline healthcare worker that works from 730-430 6 days a week and I could not possibly come in to get one. The customer service representative then responds that the card will take 5-7 business days to arrive. I tell her I have no credit cards or other way to pay for things and I cant go for a week without access to my finances, especially because I'm a single woman with no family around to help me of I needed anything or had an emergency. She then tells me again it will take 5-7 business days. I bluntly asked her of they had an overnight/expedited service because I've used it before about 2 years ago and I dont understand why that's not an option now. She says that is an option at this point but it would be an extra shipping charge. I ask her what the charge is and she says SHE DOESNT KNOW. I'm very confused at this point. I ask how I'm supposed to agree to pay a fee of I dont know how much it is? She replies she wont know until she takes my information and creates a shipping label. After being asked several questions to verify my identity AGAIN I also have to answer questions for shipping before I can even be told the price of shipping. I paid 18$ for shipping and I am currently looking for a new credit union. I'm not sure when they stopped caring and starting nickle and diming people to death like a bank, but here we are.
