MIMIS ALL-IN-ONE5It was my great pleasure to get to know the bankers at Ameris Bank. Specially Vice President and branch Manager Nancy Salas. Her old fashion way of treating clients reminds me the home town banking we got so used to prior to all these technological advancement on banking which I believe all banks should adhere to. Nothing is better than hometown banking, individual attention. Ameris bank specially Nancy makes you feel that way. She helped me out more than one occasion and I am very grateful for that. I believe bank-client relationship should a happy one not a scary one. A banker should be your friend help you succeed. I get that feeling from Ameris Bank Peachtree Corner/Holcomb Bridge branch. Leaf It to the Pros Atlanta55 stars!!! I came in on my lunch break, had very little time. Jennifer (assistant manager) helped me with opening up a business account. I don’t think it took more than 30 mins. Great staff, clean and cozy branch, complimentary cookies. I will be opening up a personal account with Fidelity in 2 weeks, you can already guess at which location.

Brigadoon Construction1CUSTOMER SERVICE. I put that in caps so the Northlake Tucker branch manager can look it up to see the definition. So I had a deposit that was rather substantial for a job and the issuer bank needed to verify it wasn't fraud, no big deal, they verify and release the funds... Sounds pretty much basic practice except this branch debits my account and won't redeposit the check and says I have to get another one issued. WELL, that would have been nice to know had they EVER CONTACTED ME TO INFORM ME OF A PROBLEM!!! but NOOO they just hit me with a passel of fees and never even sent an email, phone call, carrier pigeon, anything. I only found out by accident because this branch manager has NO concept of customer service. THIS BRANCH MANAGER NEVER RESPONDED TO MESSAGES LEFT, NEVER TOOK MY CALLS, NOTHING!!! so the moral of the story is check reviews on even your bank because its employees make it what it is. Happily transferring my account to a different branch whose manager totally agreed that this sort of behavioral was totally unprofessional and derelict of any customer service. Even customer service at corporate said she agreed this was just lazy and a poor management example.

Wendy Day4People are nice here and there's never a wait. But the online banking is not as easy to use as other banks. And from time to time they freeze my debit card for unexplained reasons, which costs me a trip to the branch mid-day. Free checking here really does mean free checking. They are worth the hassle.

alex frank1Everytime I go to use this specific location's ATM their machine is always out of order, which puts financial obligations that need to be handled in a timely manner completely thrown off schedule, to have to go and find another "working" location or go to any bank i can find thats working and be charged a fee for not banking with them. This shouldn't have to be the case. This is the second time this week that ive gone and the ATM was down. I get it, technology sometimes has a burden over us with its ups and downs and is sometimes out of control, then we have to find other ways to just cope with the downfall, like a replacement or a sign that says were down for the next time period, will be up and running by, visit us at our other locations, but this is something that occurs almost everytime that i go there and is a huge waste of my time. The bankers are in there past closing by 10 mins or so and see you out there flustered but day to day have the issue resolved. I wont go back if this issue resumes.

Astirl A5It was great doing business with this bank. So far I have no regret to be part of this Bank. The only recommendation I have is if possible to make debit card readily accessible same day.
