Associated Bank Reviews

Lucretia Navratil3I've been banking here at my local branch for years. I, within the last 2 days, found out the hard way that one of my absolute favorite attributes about this bank AND, BEST PART, one of the locations offering was MY branch, no longer offers this: the much more accommodating hours offered for closing times during the week days and Saturdays. My condolences to the other branch that offers these later hours, as the teller said today that branch would be ceasing to do so as well after the 22nd (I believe?? Or around that date- verify with the bank if you need to know for sure). Branch location N Clairemont Ave, located in Festival Foods, bumped up closing hours Mon-Fri previously 7p to now 6p, and Sat previously 4p to now 2p. Beware those yet unaware, but, if you're anything like me, you'll most likely not see this post until days after finding out by showing up to the bank and walking up to a dim-lit counter.

Scott Johnson1Associated Bank escrowing failed to pay my property taxes. I had to call and email to get them paid. I had to email Associated Bank the bills as they lost them. I had to call and email Associated Bank multiple times to follow-up to see if they were actually paid as emails were ignored. My taxes went delinquent then I was basically called a liar by Associated Bank. On August 2nd taxes were listed as delinquent on the county website. I spoke with the county on that same day at 4 pm and they had not yet received the tax payments. Luckily there was a five day grace period. Throughout this debacle I never received an appology nor any effort to make this right from Associated Bank. All of my requests to waive the unreasonable fees to stop escrowing were ignored by Associated Bank then finally denied. Now I will need to wonder if I need to call and email Associated Bank for my taxes to be paid and whether I then need to verify with the county that they actually were paid. All of this could have been made right if Associated Bank simply waived the fees to stop escrowing which they refused to do.

Carole DeJardin1Bank closes at 2. We walked in @1:59 said they were closed. We needed a notary- did not have one. We have been doing banking at this branch for 5 years. Not only did they not know our name they asked for an ID. So disappointed with the changes as this Branch.
