Kristin Reed1Don't let someone in your family that you "use" to have an account with be in the negative because they will take money out of your account not knowing you have bills pending or on the way that will put you in the negative. Also took money out of my daughter's account to help this other person's negative account because I was on my daughter's account. They don't call you or send you a letter in the mail. They could have called and said hey we're going to do this and that because my response would have been well after all MY bills are paid I will have this left over.. They did refund me for the 6 OVERDRAFT FEES I was charged but I'm still in the negative. And no I couldn't cancel any of my payments because they had already processed. And all this was after I went to the teller that couldn't help me and referred me to the 1-800 number. The 1-800 number couldn't help me and told me that I would get a call back Monday but actually called that Saturday to tell me the same thing....that she couldn't help me. They had never seen anything like this. Oh and I asked them if they going to take money out of my daughter's account since I was now in the negative and was told yes if I was in the negative for too long. I'm going somewhere else to have my own positive or negative account.

Rebecca Hanneman1Multiple fees that put my savings in the negative over a few months time. Staff were given my drivers license and still messed the spelling of my surname name twice. Bank almost shut down my checking after I made a purchase, they had input the wrong zip code. Not worth it.

Kisha Carmichael1This would have to be the worst location I've ever been to. My first issue was I was able to sign in with the front desk associate with only my bank account info, she didn't ask for identification or my name. When approached by the representative she didn't ask for my identification just stated my name and reason for being here. I informed her the I've had fraudulent activity on my account and the representative Mrs. Annelee Fletcher was very unhelpful. She kept staring that maybe someone typed in the wrong number after I told her repeatedly that I didn't have any accounts with the companies that charged me. She then picks up the phone calls her manager and ask her to check if the number was entered incorrectly and ask if I know the person that used my account. I informed her once again that I didn't. And she got rude stating that she was only trying to help me as if that wasn't her job in the first place. Before I went to the Decherd location I sent an email and spoke with a representative via the phone and was informed that I could get new account numbers and new cards. While at the location speaking with Mrs. Fletcher I had to repeatedly ask for new account numbers and her response was she would have to ask her manager if that's acceptable. I asked for a different representative to help with my issue she stated that she would go get someone else that was about 15 minutes ago. I'm still here at the bank in her office. She refuses to hand over my issue to another representative and I am beyond livid. I dont trust her to handle my issue properly. NOTHING IS WORSE THAN HAVING SOMEONE STEAL FROM YOU AND THE INSTITUTION WILL NOT LISTEN TO YOUR CRY. I've been a member of ascend for over 10 years and I am moving my account somewhere else. Who wants to keep funds or a relationship with a company that treats you like poop on the bottom of a shoe when you're in a crisis? I wish I would've went to the Tullahoma location at least they are more diverse and not so judgemental. I guess because the color of my skin my account should get hacked and I shouldn't say a word or I should get the minimum amount of help. FYI I HAD TO GIVE THE ONE STAR TO MAKE THE COMMENT. What's right is right and what's wrong is wrong and I was not treated fairly today. I was treated like I was the criminal. Racial profiling exists, I've just experienced it.

tim higgins5The bank was busy when I went in to report a fraud on my account. They reissued me a new card and refunded the fraudulent charge the next business day. Very happy with them for over 25 years.

Patricia Collier1Used to be the best but now they have more charges then the usual bank. I have been a member for over 30 years and I have found service go down hill. There's never the help available on paydays lines are rediculous.

Brian Williams1Linda and the people she manages consistently treat their customers like garbage! They have an air of superiority and have zero appreciation for nor recognition of the value of customers. She is a terrible example to her employees. Obstinate, unnecessarily difficult, abrasive, and flat out arrogant. I have experienced this multiple times and while there waiting, listened to dozens of others recount similar experiences. I will never have any association with this place again, after many decades. Over the past ten years I have watched this place become awful and lose any hint of customer service - especially over the past 2-3 years.

Cyn McSizzle1Wallet was stolen. Card was used. Had $13 in account. Thief was able to get $700 from going to Walmarts and buying whatever. I was blamed, and my ATM privledges and card were suspended and never reissued. Put your money into a bank that cares not a bank that robs you or makes it easy to get robbed.

Shasta Creel-Baskin1Worst place ever! I do not recommend this credit union to anyone! I went this morning to open an account I was the only person waiting. More people come in and they are taken care of right away, but me I SAT THERE FOR OVER 45 min and no one said boo to me. So I got up told them take my name off the list and I'd go somewhere else! You don't want me as I customer at your bank I'm ok with that! I'll take my business and go elsewhere
