Carmen Luna1Unfortunately this location is very inefficient. Long waiting lines of 10+ customers with only two employees actively working. I am also 6 months pregnant and they suggested for me to walk to another business in order to use a restroom. Take your business elsewhere!

Genesis lezama1I don’t recommend this place at all. The people have terrible attitudes and make you wait hours just to tell you they CANT help you or cash your check. They telll you to come back during business hours and don’t even do much to verify the real ness of your check. These people made me come back in the morning just to tell me they couldn’t cash my check. I could’ve gone somewhere else for that. The girl with the curly hair has the worst attitude.

Mariaelena Salgado1Poor service and no phone etiquette! Never had this problem except with this location. The reps don’t know how to listen to the customers when they are speaking and only know how to throw the issue to the district manger instead of fixing the situation.

Michelle Q.1This location was horrible... a guy by the name of earl said he was a manager and said to come back between the hours of 7-11 because he couldnt verify a government check??? At amscot???? Really??? Im soooooo pist off.... I eneded up driving all the way to Hialeah at 4 am to another amscot to change it cause this dooshbag didn't want to count his register at the end of the night..... NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO here.....super bad service.....

Jose Alfonso1Worst customer service ever. An employee by the name of ichido was working by himself between 4:10 and 4:30 pm. On thursday 4-30-20, managing 3 to 4 windows on his own when asked if there was someone else nastily replied I'll be with you in a minute go back to the line. Poor training and bad attitude what a disgrace for amscot

GEORGE JETSON1The ignorance here at this location is a serious problem ! I believe they profile customers and treat u like a dog and a criminal if u don’t come to this location all the time. I’ve never done anything like this before but had an death in the family and needed some extra cash until payday and this was the nearest location to downtown. Thai the heavy lady in management was basically playing games for 3hours. She kept telling me that my documents looked generic which was extremely insulting because I was approved for a loan just prior to coming here, but I didn’t take it because the interest rates were to high and I thought this would be easier. Not only that , why would I wait there for 3 hours if I had fake documents ?? They just had me standing there for hours just saying that they had not received the documents with my checkstubs and my bank statements via the email. I must have sent the documents in the email to them over seven or eight times. so I was a little taken back when they were telling me that they didn’t receive my emails because I had just sent a bank statement from my bank account right in front of them along with my check stubs attached to the same email, but they were lying telling me that they only received my bank statement without the check stubs and I would not be able to get the loan with them. I don’t know how it’s possible for you to receive a bank statement but not a checkstub that was attached to the same email. So that gave me the impression that they really weren’t trying to give me any type of loan. ( profiling ) I walked out of the store immediately when I saw what they were doing and I called the corporate office immediately. When I called the corporate office I spoke with someone from the corporate that told me that all my emails had in fact come through. so I don’t know why she kept lying saying that they didn’t receive my emails but somehow mysteriously received only my bank statement. When I went back into the location after I talk to the corporate office, you could tell that she was not expecting me to do that. Her entire attitude changed because she knew that she was wrong. She started telling me that they received my email as soon as I walked out and she was nervous with guilt. How convenient ! Even after I talk to the guy at corporate and he told me that they will be able to approve my loan. she still kept asking me for more and more documents. She kept looking me up and down and I wasn’t feeling well at all. I was really sick outside of being depressed from the death of a relative recently. so I wasn’t in the mood and it was hot outside. I had to keep going back and fourth outside because they kept saying that their Internet wasn’t working to send documents. She/Thai is disgusting and so are all the workers at this location for doing this to people. I could also tell that something was going on because all the workers stopped really making eye contact and I knew right then and there that she was up to something. She told me that she needed to call my job for work verification and even after she did that and spoke with my boss, she still wasn’t satisfied and said I needed more. ARE YOU SERIOUS ? The management here has some serious mental issues and if she lied about the emails then what else does she lie about ? The other workers don’t really speak good English and they give you missed information. I called this location days before I stopped by to make sure I had the correct paperwork needed and that is what I brought with me. If Miami requires everyone to be bilingual here for jobs then why don’t some of these people hardly speak any English. One lady called me on the phone and she did not sound professional at all. Just really illiterate and Ghetto. I could barely understand anything that she was saying. so I should have known. I really hope that they all get fired and that amscot can find better quality employees who are trained in dealing with the general public. There should be a zero tolerance policy for their behavior.

Roberto Diaz1I don't use money transfer facility very often but I have never had an experience as bad as this one ever in my life. Slow, favoritism based on as soon as I complained about how badly she was conveying information (that would have contributed to speeding up the process) she muttered in Spanish that she was gonna show me how slow things were going to be for me now. After I pointed out to her that I understood Spanish and would appreciate an apology, she said that I misunderstood her and clearly wasn't a native speaker like her and should just take her word for it, even though she wouldn't clear it up for me. Stating that she didn't have time for that and needed to get back to work. Although I could go on and on about the various other things that were too much, I've had enough and it's so late I'm exhausted. Sum it up, this woman should be fired, or if that isn't going to happen, than at least demoted and put through retraining because clearly wasn't enough in the beginning. If the management is anything like the employees than I expect absolutely nothing to happen. Please surprise me management and let me know, otherwise consider my business and the business of everyone who I can influence, GONE.

Well I came the second time around and LAURA assisted me so GOOD I couldn’t believe I was at the SAME amscott that’s the rude lady works at .... she even interacted with my child & ofcourse who doesn’t like someone who likes there child she was the BEST her customer service skills are OUTSTANDING I really hope she’s a supervisor or even a manger at this place with that premium Service I’m totally satisfied with her ! Just because of Laura I would continue to come to this amscott instead of going to a different check cashing place ! Laura keep up the good work and I hope who ever is above you read the reviews on here !!!!!
