Trishul Vaghani1Worst lending company I've ever worked with. They change their guidelines in the middle of a loan process and deny loans due to the new guidedlines, whereas the loan would have fully qualified before. DO NOT USE

surendra kumar1Very bad and frustrated experience. The agent assigned to me was not proactive and asking me documents every time without proper instructions. When I asked my locking period expiring due to the delay from Amres end, they said they will take care. After 25 days of lock expired and providing all documents and signatures, they called me and said lock expired and rates gone up. I even got final document signed on the day they informed me this news. I was so disappointed and completely frustrated. I refereed couple people and they referred others and all of them got very good rate and closed. One person got lock extension document but i have not been given that. I had to spend appraisal fee $550 which supposed to be covered in lender credit but now that money is also gone from my pocket. This is the worst experience with the agent and it's 100% delay from their end.

Garth Erdrich5Mark and the team at AmRes are awesome to work with. Best communication from a lender ever! Rates were very competitive and Billie M. was right on with her follow through as well. Could not have had a better experience. So much so that I've recommended Mark and the AmRes team to many of my co-workers. I know of at least one ReFi that was completed based on the referral and I know Mark is quoting a few others.

Mj Richmond1We used American Residential Lending when purchasing our first home. We were recommended by a real estate agent to use them. Our loan consultant was Yves Cham. At first everything seemed normal and we have good credit scores so we didn't think there would be any issues getting our mortgage loan ready and approved. However, Yves made this process confusing and difficult. The loan process should only take 30 days and it took them 45 days to approve our loan. Again we have perfect credit. This should have never happened. Next they wouldn't accept our bank statements unless they were stamped and approved by a manager at the bank. Our bank manager said they have done thousands of home loans and have never heard this process before. Lastly, Yves was not helpful, didn't communicate well, and was upset easily which made him difficult to work with. I have complained to American Residential Lending management about this and they have not assured me that any consequences were done for the way our case was handled. My goal in writing this review is to help other people looking for homes so this doesn't happen to them. This was one of the most frustrating loan process that I have ever been apart of and it ruined our first experience buying a home.

I refinanced my home with Amres in 2019 which they claimed I’d save $ and a year later I get hit with an additional $900/mo tacked onto my mortgage because the escrow account was all jacked up. $900/mo additional to my monthly mortgage is insane. Could buy two brand new cars and finance them and still pay less. My family lost the house because of this monumental mistake that Amres just brushed off and said was a little mistake. Don’t make the mistake I did, save your money and time and trust your life savings with a homeless guy before Amres.
