      So I just opened up an account for me and my grandparents. Nina is the one that helped us out. She was amazing. She says she usually isn’t in the friends-wood office but we got lucky having her! She walked us through everything step by step and went above and beyond for me and my grandparents. (They are not tech savvy, she has the patience of a saint.) she was also able to help me get my car refinanced! Saved me tons of money. I look forward to my journey with them! Highly recommend. The service by everyone was great. Including the first phone call with Destiny in the call center answering all of our questions quickly and efficiently.

      A HUGE SHOUT OUT to AMOCO Federal Credit Union both League City and Friendswood branches. After being a customer of Moody National Bank for over 5 years, i closed my account and switched to AMOCO in League City because Moody was indifferent to my needs and declined to protect me against fraudulent charges. The teller at AMOCO accidentally printed my new debit card against my son's account- luckily I caught it after i used it a couple of times. What came next, blew my mind. I messaged AMOCO on their app that night. The next day, I got a call from Maria Tenorio, the assistant branch manager in League City. They addressed it. I explained that I worked in Katy and would not be able to get my new card until Monday which happened to be a holiday. She offered to overnight it and I was ok with that. Early that same evening, I got a call from them again letting me know that Tony Reeves their Friendswood branch manager hand delivered the debit card to my house. WAIT, WHAT ?? Are you kidding me, a banker making house calls?? 5 years with Moody bank, and they lost me over $49. Yet AMOCO's branch manager from an entirely different location who did not know me at all, jumped in his car and drove to my house to make sure I have the card in my hand that night. There is a big difference between being transactional and being relational. AMOCO is obviously relational.

      I’ve been banking with AMOCO for close to 10 years. In that time there has only been 2 hiccups, I paid a giant bulk payment on a loan and wanted to refinance, the representative messed up and put it towards my monthly payment, so I didn’t have a payment for 2 years…no big deal, took a hour or so to resolve over the phone. Only reason they aren’t getting 5 stars is the card renewal timing isn’t that great, and if your card stops working, coming to a branch isn’t really an option for people who travel a lot for work. Regardless, I’ve enjoyed banking with AMOCO.

      I came from JSC (WellBy) due to the new account fees. I have been with JSC for over 10 years and was not happy with them trying to nickel and dime. AMOCO app is a lot better than JSC. Plus no account charge. People are very nice when I come in. I am very happy I moved!

      I just wanted to comment that my experiences have always been very positives with my home branch there in FriendsWood. I know that Michelle H. in the loan department was so very helpful and even stayed past closing time on a Friday so I could finish my car loan. She did this without being impatient and was very helpful, I really appreciated it . Also Josh at this branch has been very helpful with other banking matters. This is exactly why I went to this Credit Union as they treat you like a Member and not just another customer that the large banks like to do. Will recommend Amoco to family and friends

      Went in for a auto loan. I work 80 plus hours a week and the lender would not use my over time as income. I have made over 70k a year for the last 2 years and over 50k a year 3 years ago. The lender ran my credit at a 28k income because that was straight time. My other credit union used my over time and even my per diem at 15k yearly, as income. Do not do business with AMOCO!

      My husband and I have been members for several years and have gotten several loans which we have paid on time. A few weeks ago we went to the Friendswood location for an auto loan. The rep that was supposed to assist us was not helpful and kept making excuses as to why they would not loan us the money. We had to go thru Dow credit union for the loan. Amoco wanted to charge us 11% interest! We got 4% thru Dow. This will be our last time to deal with Amoco.

      Their online system charged me twice for my auto loan. I then sat on the phone for 30+ minutes trying to get ahold of someone. When I finally spoke to someone she greeted me with the most disgusting attitude. I don’t usually leave reviews, but that was ridiculous.

      Just sat in the drive through for ~30 minutes to deposit cash I counted in less than 1 minute. This is the 2nd time in a row this has happened. It didn't use to be like this, not sure why it would take that long but it's irritating that I now how to carve out 30 minutes to go to the bank so I'm not late for anything else...

      Will leave you stranded without a debit card... Set mine to expire just two months after I received it with promises that I would have it in time. It never came in the mail and I will not be able to pay my bills. I now have to drive TWO HOURS to the nearest branch in hopes I can work this out and close my account.
