  I really like everyone who works at the bank. Very Friendly. I love to walk into a place of business and they know my name. Small town banking is the best. They make you feel important and not just an account number.

  Ameris Bank is a lousy bank. If you're looking for banking services don't choose Ameris. I recently had money stolen out of my account at a filling station in our town and I reported the event less than 3 hours later via filling out the online "contact us" service. That was a week ago. The holidays were upon us and all banking representatives were off until the following Tuesday. Well, it's now Thursday night and I still haven't received an answer. I had tried calling before filling out the "contact us" online "support", but no one was available. This is just one of many problems I've experienced since Bank of America transferred services to Ameris. I constantly get charges deducted off of my account for "other fees" for which I had never been charged before. This bank is horrible. DO NOT USE THIS BANK!
