  I banked with Fidelity bank for 3 years never had a problem. This new merger of ameris bank was the last straw. They merged 5 days ago and still can't access my online business account. Very frustrating for a business owner not to be able to access his account, make deposit from my phone like I always do, or just to check my account of fraudulent activity. I closed my account today after calling the bank 3 times and going into a branch personally and still no answers other than "I can help you" with no results. I've heard that 4 times too many and not to mention my 20 minute phone call with ameris bank customer support yesterday.

  Never had an issue until Ameris took over. I went to withdraw and the ATM froze after it took my card. My card never came out and no employee was able to assist me. I had to call another company to cancel that card and in order to get a new one I HAVE to go in person to the bank. I am a teacher and not a single Ameris bank is open during hours I am not at work. When I contacted customer service to see if they could help, I got a "we will get back to you" response and it has been over a week since.

  We left a mega bank because their customer service was nonexistent. We couldn’t be happier with the Fidelity location next to Mt. Vernon. Very refreshing to deal with people who appreciate your business.

  Ever since this company took over my last bank fidelity, I've had nothing but issues, their policies and applications reflect a practice of deductions versus credits, where the bank acknowledges the deduction before credits, essentially you put money in and they wait until tomorrow to rob you for a loss first, I will never recommend and will cease all my accounts and business accounts as soon as possible
