  Came here to cash a check that was issued through my school but it has Ameris Bank stamped so I tried to cash it here instead of my bank. I went through the drive through and was told I needed to come in because I didn't have an account with them and needed to come inside instead of using the drive-thru. I normally go to the location in Hinesville and I've never had an issue but I respected the policy. I'm a disabled vet so I try to go through whatever is easier. I came inside and waited and was told they couldn't cash it due to something with the school. Either way they were no help at all as to how to correct it. I felt this could've been told me at the drive thru instead of me coming in and wasting my time. I assumed everything was good to go due to what I was told at the drive thru, she even told me to just bring my student ID. Won't be coming to this location again, maybe I'll have a better experience at one of their other locations.

  Brad Bixler and team at Ameris Bank were super to work with on our mortgage. They were up front with what it would take to earn the loan and navigated us through the entire process all the way to the closing table.

  What an amazing experience - this was exactly what we were hoping for!! Aaron was really great. He helped set up personal and business accounts, helped with the right accounts for our needs and everything we needed to get up and running fast. Highly recommend this bank and Aaron as well. Looking forward to banking here!

  Considering my debit card wouldn't work even though it was brand new they would be lucky to get the 3. If the lady that works at the window wasn't an employee I would change banks. The manager is worthless he just stands outside and smokes cigarettes all day. In response to you reply why would I call my local branch when the local branch manager is the one who smokes cigarettes all day and you all have known about this issue for a few months or more. Ridiculous

  Everyone is pleasant and helpful at the Stephenson Branch. Robert has helped me with my last few visits. He is extremely nice to work with and very knowledgeable.

  Excellent, atleast that's what my dad says. It's a great place to pick up a hot cup of coffee also, everytime I'm with a Family member I will go in with them and grab me a cup of coffee and a magazine. Love this place

  Updating to say their policies have only gotten stronger for them and penalizing to their customers. They got zelle. Great, but a limit of 200.00? Useless in most cases. They blocked my card because I haven't used them in forever and when I do finally go to use it a call has to happen where they are given my name, social security number, they want the number off the debit card??? **And*** a secret passphrase i made about 5 years ago. This is way over what some of the most secure institututions ask for. Again, the policy weighs in their favor when it's your money. The drive through is open Saturdays though I had to drive to the location to find this out. No answer on phone, listed as closed and the location information on their app only gives the business hours for the day your inquiring about???? No business hours given on the phone either. Feels like obfuscation and incredibly frustrating.
