  This process has been so simple and easy to go through with.This by far have been the best experience from start to finish with Ameris Bank. Clay Hadsock has been superb and so has Becky Harvey. Everything was stated clearly and detailed. I can’t express my gratitude enough. Thank you again to these lovely people in making by first time home buying process as smooth as I could ever hope for.

  I have tried more than a few times to fulfill my dream of homeownership. Running into so many roadblocks along the way. I take responsibility for a lot if the blocks but there were some things that went beyond my control. I went under contract around the end of November 2021, we were pushing for a Closing before Christmas. Well folks it's been a long time since Christmas. I was in underwriting for months, not getting anywhere with my lender. The sellers weren't having any more of the back and forth, repeatedly changing the closing dates, the multitude of explanations and excuses. I was ready to call it quits. I felt like owning a home just wasn't in the cards for me. So I did what anyone would do. I went to Atlantic City and had a ball! Came back and per my realtor Maranda Moore, reached out to Clay Hadsock with Ameris Bank. I will admit, I did not have a lot a confidence in this working out but after speaking with Clay I did have hope. Clay and his team were very reassuring and professional. They told us exactly what we needed to provide, time line to provide, and consequences! I am now a homeowner. There aren't any words in my vocabulary that can express what this means to me. I am blessed to have been connected with Clay and Ameris Bank. I would work with Ameris again and I highly recommend them to anyone needing a good lender. Thank you.

  I just moved here a week ago. I opened my checking account with Michelle Wilson today. She was great, helpful and friendly. I’m so glad to find this bank and I definitely recommend it for everyone.

  Wow! This bank is the best bank I have ever did business with (and being in the military for over 20 years, I have had many banks). Not one person frowned in look down at me when I asked to open an account (and I always dress as if I have nothing!) They welcomed me as if I was an important person of prestige! I went to two of their banks; one in Valdosta and one in Moultrie and my God, they were the most friendliest/helpful people for bank personnel. And their checking accounts are "FREE". Good to know the great USA still have business personnel that are respectful and very helpful.

  This has been a very emotional experience for my family and myself! God definitely knew what he was doing by putting Clay handsock, Cindy Brothers and the rest of their team, who assisted me every step of the way! I am a first time homeowner so this whole experience has been a roller coaster with the realtor, but Mr. Clay(Lender) and Mrs Brothers helped to give me a peace of mind! Had it not been for Ameris Bank and their incredible team I would have giving up and walked away!! Thank you so much for your time, compassion and endless encouragement!

  This bank is by far the best one I have ever had. I have only been there a short period of time and I am not a rich person but they treat me as if I am. They call me by name and I was stunned and felt special that they knew me without looking at my account information yet. The customer service is awesome. So glad I chose Ameris and I recommend them to everyone looking for one.

  I called ahead of time to ask if the lobby was open so I could come in and open a savings account. I was told it was closed (due to covid) but they would do their best to accommodate me through the drive thru. She took my information and told me it would be ready in an hour. When I told her I actually lived about 50 miles away and was just leaving town, I was told to head that way and she would do her best to have it ready for me. It was waiting on me when I got there! She went above and beyond for me so I would not have to wait around town before I could head home. It was greatly appreciated!
