  American Home Funding is completely unprofessional and prone to mistakes, and I would warn against anyone getting their mortgage through this company. During the loan funding and closing process, numerous mistakes were made by American Home Funding. The most egregious of which was when I was at the closing table with my builder, I learned that American Home Funding had neglected to send the correct borrower documents and information to the mortgage company. Due to their neglect, the closing process was almost canceled. I have receipts of how they completely failed during the process, and how I had been in communication with numerous employees at the company to update and correct these documents well before the closing date. Furthermore, in response to a valid complaint about American Home Funding, the president of the company displayed an utter lack of professionalism and respect, even going so far as to call a customer insulting and disparaging names. I have never seen such unprofessionalism and lack of respect towards a customer, in addition to the gross negligence of a company, as I have seen in my dealings with American Home Funding. Avoid at all costs!

  American Home Funding! I do not even know where to begin with this amazing group of people. From the moment that we started working with them (As referred to us by SEDA Homes) they offered a high quality of expertise and experience than previous mortgage lenders had greatly lacked in. Being a disabled military veteran and utilizing the VA loan, they ensured that all my questions were answered on the spot and quite frankly, did a miracle at getting my family into our new home. Being at the peak of our budget, we found a brand new SEDA Home that was our absolute dream. Unsure if we would get it due to our finances and previous struggles with our transition from the military, they offered endless positivity in the situation and took away the stress and anxiety that is normally associated with the home buying process. We started in January 2017 and closed the first of March 2017 at over 45% of debt-to-income which is almost impossible to get. However, they made it happen and did it with ease. Using the VA loan and having them work with us every step of the way, we were even able to close with no money down. Would recommend American Home Funding to any Veteran and any person looking to purchase a home. Thanks a million from The Bennett Family and our new forever Dream Home!
