  If I could give 0 stars I would. I have the same problem with Travis as everyone else does but I've worked with him in the past. What you see from him here at American Acceptance is who he is. He is just nasty across the board. He has the demeanor to talk down on whoever he may think is the less fortunate. If you can avoid him do so at all costs. I purchased my vehicle in 2015 and I will be paying it off next month. I've only been late one time in 30 days, 2 yrs ago and he still harass me during my grace period or before my due date. He's just a very nasty individual.

Futhermore, we have no current business dealings with you as described in your complaint. Your last business dealings with our company was in 2019.

  Paid off my car after 5 year note. Had a good experience till I paid off my car and a month later have not received my title. Grace is a liar, Heather is a liar as well. They state that they sent it but I haven't received it still. The things that Grace says are not professional either. She said she should smack my husband over a $7 mistake they made. Never recommend doing business with them. Maybe that's why there Madison TN location closed.

  I’d like to first point out that I have ALWAYS paid my bill on time except for 3 occasions where I split payment and paid the late fee and pre-arranged to do so. I’m a good customer that hasn’t caused a single bit of doubt over payment. If possible to rate the individual people at this horrific joke of a company I would. TRAVIS is a chauvinistic pig. He gave me a nasty tone the second he heard the voice of a woman. He would not let me finish a single sentence. I was being long winded and wanted to tell my history in order to show a pattern of lies and incompetence. He didn’t care. Just kept saying we’ll what’s your problem with me. He told me accounts are assigned to people when I kept asking him why he got my account when I’ve been dealing with a woman from day one and not him. Flat out lie and refused to tell me why he has my account and refused to return my account to Cindy. Yes, I got more aggressive as the call continued because I wasn’t being heard. He kept saying well I can’t help what’s happened to you from before. What kind of company doesn’t take responsibility for it’s screw up? He refused to tell me who his supervisor is and failed to make me believe his lie that he doesn’t have one. If you cannot handle upset customers and cannot let them tell their issues about your screw ups, what are you doing collecting bills???!!!!!!! Oh and he hung up on me. Class act. Janelle the receptionist is rude and answers the phone like your call is annoying. She won’t even connect the call to who you ask for because I didn’t even want to deal with Travis, I asked for the Manager. Conway Ford hooked me up with this disaster and they needs to rethink their associations as well. Update: The owner has called me to apologize and hear my story. I’m grateful and hope to see that people who pay their bills are treated better.

  Sold me a car that they knew had a defective transmission. The car had 1st and second gears, so I didn’t notice the car would go into any other gears until I drove it on the interstate. Called Travis and told him the situation and he told me that I purchased the car “as-is”, and there was nothing that could be done. I told him I’d contact the Better Buisiness Bureau, and he threatened me with slander! The previous owner told me that American Acceptance knew about the transmission because that’s why she stopped making payments on it. I had no other choice but to take car to have repaired. It ended up costing me $5,000!!! I will be contacting BBB and searching for a lawyer. THEY KNEW EXACTLY, what they were doing!

  I had a really great, and easy experience with American Acceptance. They got me exactly what I needed in a timely manner, and had me on my way. I had the pleasure of working with Jon and Travis. Both gave exceptional customer service. I would recommend American Acceptance to anyone looking for financing!

  Would give negative Stars if possible! I've had 2 accounts with them over past 7 years, payed EVERY payment on time, & they Still ripped me if when I payed off my account!!! Gave me Bogus late charge for 3 yrs ago, claiming they got my check after the due date, even though my rent mailed Same time got to Washington State with plenty time to spare, claiming too 2wks to get to Myrtle from Surfside!! Don't finance through them!! If you're desperate, they're gonna WAY over charge you,& lie to slap on even more fees!! So much for rewarding loyal customers!! Do happy I'm done with these Criminals!!!! Do yourself a favor, take a bus till you get your credit fixed & get loan from Reputable, Honest loan company!!

  My truck was flooded by hurricane and truck started to give me problems tryed to get insurance involved but i had to wait for weeks to get fix so i let american acceptance know and they said we can not wait. So i gave them the truck back let them deal with it now. Aweful people to deal with. Would not recommend them at all to get your car financed. Your better off dealing with a real bank than theses high interest ripoff rate wanna be bank places.

  Travis was awful and doesn’t let you speak. No care for customer service at all. And he will come to your house after telling the branch manager he called multiple times but never did. Liar. Don’t blame people for coming in on the last day of the grace period because of snow and ice. Maybe don’t come to someone’s house when the bill was paid that morning and had always been within the grace period at worst.

  I have just paid off my second vehicle through American Acceptance in Myrtle Beach. Everyone I have worked with has been extremely professional as well as friendly & determined to help me in any way! I highly recommend American Acceptance!

  Don’t ever do business with this company, their customer service is not friendly and will not help when you have questions or concerns. In addition they have the worst payment set up for your payments. Call payments they make you go through Western Union or Money order. You can’t make a payment through your checking account to the company directly everything is through a third-party horrible horrible system!
