Cami Hendrickson1To put everything in detail would waste more time. I spent 57 minutes with CS over the phone and they couldn't resolve the issue. Very nice gentleman but did nothing to fix the issues. Went in to the Draper Branch on 12300 South yesterday in Draper to open 2 minor accounts and have them linked to my account so they would have a debit card. Let the Digital Specialist train Lindsey on how to do this and something that should have been 15 minutes each they said took over 2 hours, I patiently waited and then took the new card and my kid to a store to show them how to use the card and it didn't work. I went directly back to the bank at 6:04 and it was closed so my son knocked on the window. Tana (the branch manager) talked through the door rudely and told me to come back another day, she can't open the door or to call Customer Service. After the amount of time I spent in there they couldn't fix their problem with the cards??? I called CS this morning and just got off the phone they called Tana and she was too busy to get on the phone even though he (the CS rep) got permission to do a 3 way call to get the cards fixed. Lindsey wasn't working today or the Digital Specialist guy that trained her so now I am 3 hours into this and nothing fixed. What a sad joke. Something so simple and America First could not solve the problem. They had printed the card after a pin had been entered (I am told) and that is why the cards don't work and they "linked" the account with an account I don't use rather than mine and my husbands account like they were given and told. Not sure how they even managed that. Worst service ever! Tana should never be a manger. When I first came in to AFCU in Draper I waited anyway and she was talking with an employee and had customers waiting. I can't believe the amount of time this has taken and they can't fix it!!!

james thelin1Start the loan process got all the information they needed kept asking for more information. As I kept gathering all the information they needed they set the appointment down the road. When I went in to finalize everything all said and done. They force me to do another credit check because of their incompetency. Try to work with a manager because I was a day over and I don’t want to keep hurting my credit score by pulling it. They don’t really care about people. Just found out that right after i talked to the bank, they canceled my loan without letting me know. very shady practices.

alaxandre gallagher3I'm not trying to be harsh on the newbie but I asked for my credit cards to be exchanged for new ones. They pulled from the wrong credit card and charged me a fee then instead of charging the correct one they put it on the one it already was on. Not only did it make my budget life even more difficult, I now have to pay fees to all the service providers I have linked to my credit card that the number were changed.

Christian Brown1Banking started alright however as I used my mobile app I repeatedly get locked out of my account. So I call they tell me to reset my password. I have done it three times and it continues to keep me out of my account by telling me I do not have an account and asking if I want to enroll. I have made sure my account number is right as well as each of the new passwords.... its not a user defect its a system defect one same because they have not yet fixed this problem and because I get the toss around when it comes to asking for help

Brighton Budo3America First has been my banking institute since I was in high school, I love this place! The app is amazing and user friendly and their customer service is exceptional too. Well, for the most part. Recently I applied to get pre approved for a car loan through them and I thought it was going to be a rather quick process since it was just a pre approval. But since I applied, I was the one having to reach out to customer service to see the status of my loan. And time and time again, I had to call them and they would request information they already had but said they needed. They told me I would be contacted by a loan officer every time I got off the phone with them. It has been 5 days since I have heard from anyone.

Chandler Swank2Posting here for a lack of a better location to leave a review for AFCU as a whole. The single worst thing about this credit union is their apparent stubbornness to upgrading their processes and technology to the modern age. I've had an account with them since I was 16. I've had 4 vehicle loans, and a line of credit/Visa classic with $1k each since I was 18. I've gone through probably 10 job changes in the last 5 years and have more than quintupled my salary. My Discover CC has increased proportional to my income AUTOMATICALLY and is now at about $9k. Yet, for some reason, despite my long and faithful history, AFCU is only able to grant me an increase to my credit after filing paper work, having my credit pulled, and being underwritten. Until you bring your tech and policies up to speed, my line of credit and Visa classic will remain at $1k each, totally unused. Second, their stolen CC reporting policies. My wallet was stolen last year and upon reporting it, the staff treated me like I was lying. I reported the theft to them within 2hours of the charges being made, I know my rights and know I have no liability for these charges. Once they accepted that they were required to dispute the charges, they made me fill out a dispute form for EVERY. SINGLE. TRANSACTION. That was 20+ transactions. Do you know what I did with my Discover CC? Called their customer line and within 5 minutes the charges were cancelled. Thanks for wasting mine and everyone else's time AFCU. Lastly, why don't you keep any foreign currency on hand? Wells Fargo does. At the end of the day, bank here if you want to deal with a credit union stuck in 2003, look elsewhere for a more modern institution.

She didnt even give me all of the paper work. A lot of time waisted running back and forth. Please provide all necessary info and paperwork.
