  Amanda is fantastic. We 100% could not have bought our home without her; she was there for us every step of the way. We went into our meeting with zero knowledge of the home buying process, and she took time to educate us and walk us through all of the options available. When we found our dream home but felt that it would be just out of our price range, Amanda flew in like Wonder Woman and found us the perfect mortgage right in line with our budget.   Amanda Garcia is amazing, and she and her team did a fantastic job helping us with our financing! Due to the pandemic, our family decided to purchase a 2nd "getaway" place in Ocean City, so that we wouldn't have to worry about staying in someone else's place, or hotels anymore. This was the first real estate purchase that we had made in many years, and Amanda and her team made everything easy. They were in constant communication the entire time, letting us know everything that was going on, explaining everything, and answering any questions we had. They provided fun service support through closing and beyond - in fact we still get occaisional check-ins just to see how things are. We can't recommend Amanda enough for your mortgage needs!

  Amanda was wonderful to work with. Our situation was complicated for a variety of reasons and we had already failed to get a good loan from another lender. Amanda stepped up - quickly and graciously - and rushed through the mortgage process so we could meet our closing date. She was always responsive, very knowledgeable about the lending biz, and very kind. If I go looking for another loan, I will call her first.

  I could have not closed on my very first home without Amanda! She was ALWAYS very patient with all of my questions and concerns and I most likely drove her crazy with ALL that I asked, but she never faltered or made me feel like I was testing her patience. As a working mom of two I am always on the go, so finding the time to communicate during my first home process was hard to manage but she made communicating with each other super easy.   From start to finish Amanda and her team were the absolute best to work with. After hours, first thing in the morning, or any other time of the day, she always replied to phone calls or emails in order to help us navigate the process. Buying a home can be a daunting experience, but we never felt overwhelmed, confused or pressured throughout the transaction. Amanda clearly explained each step and always let us know what was coming next. With 4 of us on the mortgage, there were lots of signatures and paperwork to gather but she remained patient and helpful the entire time. I am not quite sure why you would use any other broker to help you with your finance needs. We will recommend her to anyone who we know that is purchasing a home and would not hesitate for a second to use her again. Great job Amanda!! You helped us purchase a vacation home that will bring our family many, many years of memories. We can't thank you enough.

  Amanda did an excellent job walking us through the process and is a great communicator. She help us over several hurdles and was always pleasant and professional to deal with. Most importantly she was extremely accessible, attentive and always got back to us very quickly (usually within 30 minutes if I had to leave a message at all). I would definitely recommend using Amanda and First Home Mortgage for your next loan.

  Amanda is nothing short of a rockstar in the lending industry. We had a not so great experience with a previous loan officer who decided to issue approvals without checking any documents at all. I began to believe all loan officers were not trustworthy, until I came across Amanda. She overcame several bumps in the process with us, kept us informed the entire time and most of all, she did what she said she would do. She saw us through to the end, with closing right on time, just like she said she would. I would encourage anyone looking to buy, sell or refinance a home to absolutely go with Amanda from first home mortgage, you will not regret it! Also, I’d like to add that I’m not super local to Amanda, she’s located in Ocean City and I’m purchasing my home in New Castle, DE. You don’t have to be from Ocean City to be able to have Amanda as your loan officer. I will never use anyone else for any of my mortgage needs. Thank you Amanda and your entire team for your hard work during this process! You have played a huge role in making our dreams come true!
