Norma Perez1Altura authorized an overdraft of 9,500 dollars of an ATM transaction that I NEVER AUTHORIZED. I have reached out to Altura several times via phone, I. took my paper work directly to an Altura bank, I have been sending numerous emails to Altura, and I have spoken with 6 representatives regarding this situation for the past few months and yet nothing has been resolved.

Larry C1I went in here on Father's day with my friend and they had a little game, so I played. I made the bean bag in the corn hole and won a $20 gift card! I was excited and told my friend "Hey! I didn't want to come on this trip to the bank, but this is worth it." I go about my week and ended up charging the card and it declined. I have now found this gift card a couple months later and registered it online (I'm not broke, just had some downtime) and it turns out.... THERE"S NO MONEY ON HERE! How embarrassing as a company. Why would you offer free Giftcards to dads with no money on them? Losers!

Carlos Alvarez1Closing my bank account now, I was detected with fraud on a withdrawal that was not me and it was obvious due to the location. But HEATHER proceeded to accuse me of withdrawing that money, she stated someone I know went into my wallet drove 3 hours withdrew 100 dollars and then put it back in my wallet without me knowing. What a joke!!! This credit union does not have the best accessibility with customer service after hours, very limited options as well.

Robbie Seabolt5I have never had any issues here...I have been a member when it was March Credit Union, then Visterra, and now Altura...I really don't need to physically go there anymore since I'm retired...my SS and retirement check are auto deposit...and all of my bill paying is setup through the bill pay app...and I pay for groceries etc. with my debit card and can check my balance in 10 seconds...no more paper checks and messing up my check registry anymore, the online balance peek keeps a running balance for me....the rare times I do go to the credit union I use the automatic tellers...no line and no waiting..everyone has always been professional and knowledgeable and I have never had any negative experiences here...I like the new app. easy to navigate and understand...the developers did a great job on it...99% of my dealings now is online which has made my life much easier dealing with finances as a retiree...

Alexandro “Lex” Meza4Well-staffed, so the long waits come from having a lot of clientele (which is a good sign). I dealt with some extremely friendly people, and from my experience they work with you pretty reasonably. I'm not really sure where these horror stories keep coming from; I must have visited a different place. I think it's because only the upset people tend to write reviews. Not the best credit union, but if you're leaving a bank (like BofA) you'll find a very nice change of pace.

Jasmine Huckabaa1Do yourself a favor and look at other credit unions. I just closed my accounts, after waiting for a minor loan to close. I received shocking service in December over an auto loan, and ended up going with another bank who id never done business with before and has treated me better than Altura ever tried to. Seriously, save yourself the hassle and headache.

Natasha S.5I came from big banks like Wells Fargo and BofA and they were the worst poor customer service and horrible account options let alone steal your money out of your account. Nevertheless, Visterra is one of the best credit unions my husband and I have ever been to we love coming in here and everyone addresses us with such respect. Never are you just a number here you are actually in control of your finances. My personal banker Veronica always returns calls promptly and she goes above and beyond the call of her job to make sure we are satisfied. Even if you have had banking issues in the past or poor credit they will get you back on track.
