  Always hard to do business. Nothing is easy or convenient. Opening another account. Been with them for over 20 years. Every time I need to deal with a person they may or may not do what you are asking. Anything is going to have a cost. Anything but cash is an “exception”. Free checking is the reason to come and to stay. Nothing else is special. I miss the days of Customer Appreciation days. Luckily needing to go inside doesn’t happen much.

We are a not-for-profit, which means anything we collect goes directly towards the credit union, which means improving the interest rates for our members. Regardless, we thank you very much for your feedback and membership, and we will take it into consideration when making improvements in the future.

  Very Rude and not helpful at all. The person I spoke with to find a reamedy to get my down payment back from a car Loan that was returned to the dealer. The Altura representative told me I'm responsible for the loan. Instead of finding a resolution to help in finding a way to resolve my concern, I was told Basically it's your problem. Interest will continue to accrue! Very poor customer Service and very unprofessional the way they talk to their customers. I will not ever get my car loans through Altura again!

  The BEST in Bank. Customer Services are the best and polite clerks. They help Me with my bank account in online the Lady took Her time to explain and help me with my checks. Thank You!

  SUPER DUPER AMAZING! I've had Altura for a couple of years now, and let me tell you: "I should have never gone to any other banks!" Credit Unions are MAGICAL for life, and Altura set the standard honestly. I had been struggling financially for a while trying to get a new car, and finally I went through the Auto Expert. It wasn't that great because I got a simple Nissan Sentra, but soon after I traded it in for a lovely 2019 Buick Regal Avenir. As you can imagine that monthly payment was HEFTY. A little bit of patience and some trust, and I went through Altura AGAIN about 5 months later to refinance the car that I ACTUALLY wanted. It took me 2 tries to get refinanced because I needed to improve my credit a bit, but it was SO worth it! Not only did they lower my car payment by $250, but they also gave me ALL of the financial amenities for my Car like GAP insurance and my extended Warranty! I was so relieved, I finally caught a break after the disaster that was 2019. Also, I told them that I was going to be starting school soon too, and they just gave me so much peace of mind! Now I can balance a full time job, Part time School, and have some extra pocket change each month! I called over the phone so he probably doesn't work at this specific location, but Caleb Bryant gave me the blessing I had been working for so long to receive! Thank you so much!!!

  I was on the phone with Tanya Rengel and the manager Lauren Olvera at Moreno Valley branch. I was the translator as my friend was not fluent in English. They were both very unprofessional and refused to process my friend’s approved auto refinance as he was compelled to go to Bank of America, where they approved him right away even for a better APR. I believe those two employees refused it purely with no proper reason as his application was approved by the bank. Tanya was taking a personal grudge and the manager Lauren was just been bias. I will never go to Altura CU and would never recommend anybody to go there as long as the company has these types of unprofessional employees.

  Cheap wannabe bank with fake tellers and difficult to use machine kiosks just to talk to a "tv teller". Go to a real bank and avoid the fustration of not knowing when a tv teller will talk to you. I don't understand why anyone would give this place high reviews unless they have never been to competing banks. I have accounts in several banks and other credit unions, altura's use of fake tv tellers is the worst. I prefer talking to a real person and knowing I am valued, instead of having to stand in front of a machine with a tv screen, having to have previous training on how to use it or even just to get the attention of the tv teller. Altura also has more fees than even banks, which was suppose to be what credit unions were against. Other credit unions like arrowhead, schools first, and the others in the same union, are 1,000x better than Altura, and no fees. Altura also has many hook and switch deals requiring a direct deposit. If you happen to lose your job and lose the direct deposit, Altura will add insult to injury and increase your interest rates on loans you might have. Even if you add the direct deposit back, you won't get the original promised rate anymore. Go with Arrowhead or Schools First, much much better, and REAL people tellers!

  Altura credit union by far is greatest way to bank. Nothing beats having that local customer service. If there's a Altura credit union in your neighborhood I recommend you go and become part of our banking family!

  Called to speak to a live person. The wait was 10 people ahead of me. I was prompted to leave a call back number and guaranteed a call back. It's been 3 days SMH. Terrible.
