  I always wondered who writes those 5 star comments? Well, here I am. Out of the 4 Financial institutions Im doing business with, Altra is the only Credit Union. In my opinion, Altra’s service, compared to my big Bank institutions, a clear A+. Why? If there is a decision to further any solution, Altra’s friendly representatives are like family and make decisions in house and on the spot! They are trained to acknowledge the issue, address it and stay on it until it is solved. I appreciated that! The 800 number is answered by a friendly Wisconsin customer service. You Ladies are true solution solvers! Overall, the actual financial service is fast, highly efficient and super friendly. Its just a happy experience. Thanks Altra Credit Union!

  I bank with Altra FCU through a shared banking agreement. I have only been to this location once, but I will definitely return. The staff is friendly and attentive. I have never had an issue calling this branch location. Ignore the reviewer who rated only one star because he couldn't get ahold of them on the phone. That is ridiculous. When you call, it goes to an operator if nobody in the branch answers. That operator helps you. In my experience, the operator contacted the branch and transferred me to them as soon as someone was available. When I called everyone was assisting a customer and I only had to wait maybe 2-3 minutes. If you don't have 2-3 minutes, keep your money in a safe at home. I was treated exceptionally and I was simply exchanging a large amount of small bills for larger bills. The staff was happy to help even though the Telco Plus Credit Union told me no. Luckily they are very close and both on my way home.
