  We used Almost Home Mortgage to refinance our home, and we were truly impressed by Barbara and her staff. We had some difficulties with appraisals, but she was patient and helped us deal with all of our issues. She took the time to come out to our house, explained the entire process and all the paperwork, and made the whole experience as easy as possible. I cannot say enough about how great Barbara and Almost Home Mortgage is. I highly recommend them.

  I first met Barbara when I was referred to her as an ABCO member. I was immediately comfortable with her. Her knowledge is off the charts but it is her humility and warmth of personality that drew us in. She treats you as if you are her only customer! Barbara guided us through two mortgages with ease and comfort as well as the confidence I had that she was giving us the best product at the best price. Recently my son had his first real estate purchase. I referred him to Barbara and she guided and educated him but most importantly treated him like her own, which i am sure she does with every customer!

  Barbara Gallagher was who worked with me from Almost Home Mortgage when I bought my home a few years ago. She was absolutely fantastic and without a doubt a true expert in her field. Having no experience or even rudimentary understanding of the mortgage process, Barbara walked me through the entire process and helped me secure a loan at a great rate. She made the entire process seamless and easy. I was surprised at how committed she is to her profession; on several occassions she took phone calls from me after hours to help me close on the home on time. Because of her dedication and professionalism, the problems that we encountered with the bank and the Veterans Affairs did not seem like problems at all because Barbara responded immediately. I cannot say enough good things about this woman (as well as my realtor (who recommended Barbara, and Barbara's team at Almost Home Mortgage). I have her business card on my fridge, because I look forward to working with her again in the future.... seriously she is awesome

  I was referred to Almost Home Mortgage by ABCO Credit Union, Barbara Gallagher was extremely helpful in helping me make the right mortgage choice when I had to mortgage my home due to a divorce settlement.   We financed with Barbara 2 times (including a refinance). She did such a great job handling the process and saved us TONS of MONEY!! We could not have afforded the home the first time without her!. And the refinance gave us such a great deal, that I'm forever grateful -- more money to spend on the kids college. She is terrific to deal with and highly recommended - I've already referred her to a friend who used her.
