  Pushing the 'Easy' button is what you will get with your work with Jonathan. If you don't feel confident in the process of your mortgage and buying a home...don't worry. Jonathan has your back. He and his team kept it easy. They were proactive in their communication anticipating my needs and questions. When the inevitable surprise came, they worked hard to overcome the moment mitigating the impact on me. It was easy. And Jonathan and team are very nice. Also know...that closing is just the start of a relationship that carries on. Their online system is easy to navigate and flexible in allowing varied payment approaches. Plus you get varied communications on items of pertinence that is worthy of occupying my time. Finally...a portion of the proceeds of a mortgage go to my choice of a number of charities supporting varied missions that are worthy and appropriate. He...and his team...have "IT" together.   We were very pleased with Jonathan Alexander and First United Bank in connection with our recent refinance. We have taken out six home loans since 1987, and this was easily the best experience we've had. Everything went smoothly and there were clear instructions as to what documents I needed to produce and how they were to be submitted. There were no delays, and the loan closed much faster than anticipated. I am particularly thankful for Jonathan's assurances relating to the Government stance on primary residences for parents. The citations and copies of Fannie Mae guidance were very comforting. Qualifying my Mother-in-Law's home as a primary residence rather than an investment property significantly reduced my cost, and had not been provided to me as an option by three other banks I consulted prior to contacting First United Bank. We are very pleased with all of our interaction with First United Bank staff, and will certainly refer our friends who seek home financing.

  I got my home financed with Jonathan Alexander and First United Bank this past August. It was a very easy home loan because my credit score among other things was excellent ! So yes I had several bank options. During the loan process in the beginning Jonathan would get back to me and answer my text, calls whatever and was attentive. I guess he wanted my business for my home loan. Not even a year been gone now. I have I’ve tried calling, texting him several time’s with no response. I guess once he’s finished with your loan, he’s finished with you!! I had a easy question on some paper work mailed to me by First United Bank is all I was needing to ask.

  We were referred to Jonathan by our awesome realtor Paige Poupart for a home purchase early last year. I've had many mortgages over the years, and Jonathan and his entire team were among the best. So, with interest rates coming down again, I contacted Jonathan and he helped us get refinanced to a very attractive rate. Again, very smooth process.
