  My rating of 5 stars is based on the conversation I had with David Trautner about refinancing. This important decisions can and will be life changing depending on Whether or not I make the right selection in who refinances my home. He was patient and engaging in answering my questions, and advising me of the restructuring of the company. He made me comfortable as I spoke to him, taking his time. I didn’t feel rushed. From the conversation I had with him... more companies should employ more people like D Trautner!

  Dave Trautner and Amber Lohrengel at ResiCentral/Agora Lending are the BEST! I've trusted them twice now with my mortgage, once when I first bought and another time with my REFI. Everything was so easy, they were extremely responsive. We closed both times with a month and they had the lowest rates! They got rid of my PMI, and got me the best rate. Thank you! SO HAPPY with the experience.

  I will keep One American Bank side of the business aside from my review, as they have been very responsive and tried to help. But, Agora Lending is rude, in simple terms. They only respond if they want basically. Otherwise, you just have to keep chasing them, which mostly doesn't work anyway. If you are wondering the status of your application, or amended a document upon their request and waiting for an answer, like in my case, good luck with that. I have sent them follow-up emails 7 times and they have never responded. Randy Fahilga and Matthew Hutson are very unresponsive , and therefore I find them amateurs. If you cannot approve an application, you should still be able to respond, as a gesture, especially if the applicant has spent hours of time to provide you the documents you wish to see. Definitely not recommended.

  Stay far far far away. Slow underwriting and very slow communication. Interest rates have been dropping like crazy, though my lender never once tried to push to get me a lower rate. After reading reviews on here I kind of felt like my experience was going in the wrong direction. I left emails or voicemails with managers but none of them were ever returned. Started the process in middle of September and it’s now December and still not done yet. Dealing with them is too confusing and the stuff you submit is never good enough or the underwriter wants something different. Could never get an estimated closing date or getting a questioned answered was difficult. Never got offered anything in reference to a float down option with interest rates going down like crazy, even after I stated I wanted to see if that was an option. Agora lending is a partner of One American Mortgage. Stay away from both. Be aware of these 3. Angel Lugo Ashley Hutson Brendan Shea

  Cody and Krystal were very responsive. The process took a long time but they honored the rate and closing costs were taken care of. Overall, happy and got a great loan rate for minimal dollars.

  Agora was excellent to work with. Their rates were low. The process was streamlined. We enjoyed working with Amanda and Ashleigh. They were very efficient. Loan did take a bit longer than we expected as we thought we were closing earlier, but there are always some hiccups esp during the pandemic so overall it was an excellent experience.

  Waited almost 6 months. Finally signed the closing disclosure 3 times. They never close our refinancing loan. Wasted time and money. We paid for appraisal and loan was never got anywhere even though we provided all the documents needed. Stay away bad business.

  Jason McDevitt and Bethanie Ciccolella were extremely honest and professional. Straight forward, no bs, prompt with constant communication. This is just the type of people I like complex things like this to be handled, because they're good at their job. I was skeptical about Agora based on some of the reviews I've been reading and on top of that they gave me the most competitive rate, so I was thinking this must be a bait and switch, but with the amount I was saving from this refi, I decided to give them a shot (even though I had been previously cleared to close with another lender). I am so glad I went with Agora, because they gave me a longer rate lock and was able to close within the 30 day period. Their team kept me updated every step of the way and I was never asked to submit any documents more than once. Everything just flowed smoothly. Their portal is rather new and some things I thought seemed kind of sketchy compared to my previous lender, but it seems to be that they are rather newer in the space and growing. Everything worked out and now I've closed my refinance within the 30 days! Outstanding.

  I was dealing with Randy Fahilga for refinance of my home. He has problems communications from the beginning. They ordered the appraisal and it was appraised low. I asked him if there were any options and never heard back. Never imagined this would happen in mortgage lending. Then reached out to mortgage processor, and not response. Then one of the supervisors with last name Fox and its been 2 days and have not heard back. What a company!! I am revising this review as Keith Shamma, Vice President, Client Services ,reached out to me. He spent a lot of time to understand the issue and tried to help me his best. The deal still did not work out. I am satisfied that he took hours of his busy time to understand the issue and tried his best to have the deal gone through. I still stand by the fact that the communication with the client is very important for the lending company.

  I had an awesome experience with Angel Lugo and Amber Lohrengel. Angel was the first person I shopped for and he offered me the lowest rate. Amber helped me out through every single step of the way even though the underwriters required a lot of documents. I always felt I was their top priority even though it was a very busy time for them.
