  This morning I went into the New Brunswick branch to get information about opening a business checking account. I have been doing research for weeks at other bank locations and Affinity was the next suggestion on my list. I was welcomed very warmly immediately by Allyson Colon. I have never been apart of a credit union or knew much about them. Her amazing knowledge and years of experience calmed my nerves almost immediately. She made my experience so easy and comfortable that I knew right away Affinity was the way to go! She took her time to work with me and made sure everything she was saying and explaining I understood. She walked me through the entire process of setting up the account, downloading the app, and even setting everything up on the app. She made sure before I left I felt comfortable and all my needs were met. Today i opened my very first business account (a huge milestone in my business journey I might add) and I am so glad Allyson was there to share the experience with me! I will definitely be coming back to her to open more accounts in the very near future!!

  Came in for an auto loan. Yessica greated me like family from the first time I entered the building. She is full of knowledge and handles everything in a professional manner! I have nothing but great things to say about my experience in this establishment! Thank you Yessica.

  Fantastic customer service! Thank you Edmund M. for telling me about a new cd that has great rates and allows me to contribute additional funds through June. Additionally he gave me a scratch off for the cd that bumps the rate even higher! Whoa.The branch is clean, has ample seating, and is optimally located (close to a major train station and business center -New Brunswick). The only challenge is parking garage because they are doing construction on the street next to the branch.

  I’m not a member but I came in today to sign off on a vehicle purchase agreement and had to leave a good review. Yessica was super helpful and even shared her ice cream bars with us! :)

  Today I visited the New Brunswick Branch and met with Allyson Colon. This was my first time walking into a credit Union. Allyson informed me on all the great benefits of being an Affinity member, because of her knowledge and great personality I opened a checking account, savings account and a secured card. Allyson took her time with me, I am pretty sure I spent the whole day with her. I am coming back with my daughter to open an account with her next. Great Customer Service!

  I would not recommend this place just on this experience alone, but this is not the first experience at this bank. It’s a joke ATM machines are constantly down or being serviced. This is the second time I have deposited money and my money was taken. The first time thank god the branch was open because they were able to give me my money back immediately, but today not really. I went to deposit money on a Sunday the machine did the same thing and I was able to pull out some money it kept some, I quickly called customer service , they said systems were down and wouldn't be able to help me to call back, I called back and the next agent said there should be no problem just go to the branch, went to branch they said they would look into, (look into .Give me my money back), I then called to make a complaint they call me from the branch in two seconds to tell me they are still looking into it. My money should be safe with your bank, I should feel comfortable that the issue with a customer and your on going issues with the ATM should be resolved by the end of day. Poor , Poor , Poor, I have sent people to the branch because it is convenient and the people are pleasant, but this is unacceptable. There is always an issue with your machines in and out of the bank. Always.. 08/13/2018 After hours of waiting for a response for my money to be refunded, they call me at the end of the day to tell me I have to wait one more day because they can do nothing until some special technician comes and does something special with the machine... Thanks Affinity Bank for you stellar service.. if I could give a 0 I would 08/14/2018

  Menakshi was the banking specialist who helped me during my visit, and it wouldn't be exaggerating to say that she is the best. She not only provided me valuable inputs but helped me in answering all the queries that I had around credit scores. I wouldn't have know the mistakes I was doing if not for her. And to point out none that I have interacted from other banks before ever told me. I would recommend Affinity for having so customer friendly employees.

  I attempted to open an account using their online interface, including a donation to a group intended to establish membership. My application was rejected for reasons not articulated, and the institution placed a hold on the significant amount of money I intended to transfer into the accounts I planned to open. They also required a scan of my driver's license for this online application. Perhaps they are great if you can get inside.
