Stephanie Bagwell5The southgate branch, Joann, was exceptional. She was prompt and professional with every task. Answered all our questions with no hesitation and satisfied everything we needed. My husband and I thank her very much. I would recommend her to family and friends for banking needs.

Alexis Ferguson5Eh. This place is okay enough for four stars. I used to solely do business with them. I have since moved to another credit union for majority of my business. Honestly the only reason I keep this account open is because I receive my taxes and the stimulus checks direct deposited to this credit union. Otherwise I’ve paid off my credit card with them and had only kept my $5 in my savings to keep it open. But since paying off my credit card I have began receiving fees to my account. I called about it and they said I need to keep an AVERAGE of $200 in my account each month to not receive these fees. Weird but okay. So they took my $5 from my savings and charged me another $5 fee so my account is negative $5 currently. They told me to use my credit card once a month and pay it off to avoid the fee but I really would rather not do that. So I guess I’ll just take $200 and leave it sitting in that account until I care to change my direct deposit for my taxes. Otherwise I would have closed my account with them by now. Their app isn’t the best either, but I guess it isn’t the absolute worst... oh well UPDATE, I have changed my review from 4 stars to 5 stars for the following reason..a team member whom I believe was named Jessica called me and discussed with me my account and what is going on. She was able to reverse the fees and give me my money back, which oddly enough when I called about this last week they said there was nothing they could do about it. But I’m just happy to have my money back. I did deposit the $200 to keep in the account to prevent from receiving fees again. Jessica did mention to me that since my credit card with them is the first one I ever got, that it would be smart to keep it open as it is my longest standing line of credit. I appreciate them taking their time to reach out to their customers and make things right.

Falon Barretto1Absolute worst bank experience. They put a cap on how much you can spend in one transaction with your debit card and you have to reach an actual person at one of the branches in order to raise that limit, for up to 15 minutes. Or so I've been told. Seems like every time you do manage to speak to someone, they have a different story on how business works there. I was unable to get in touch with anyone to do what I needed on Friday, and now here it is Monday, and I am being told that they are unable to accommodate my request since no one at a branch is available to take my call and they are the ones authorized to do such a transaction. Needless to say, I am now going to lose my vacation rental reservation because my own bank will not give me access to my own money. The time to find a new bank has passed. I would not recommend Advantage One Credit Union to anyone.

Katherine Hill1I don’t belong to this credit union just giving a word of warning . So I used the ATM this morning at 5:30 am and in the middle of the transaction the ATM lost power of course my card was stuck in the machine . I called to see how I could get my card back and I was told that my card was shredded because I don’t have a account that is there policy. So the ATM malfunctions and I get to pay the price ?? I will never use this place for any business. I’m only giving it one star because it won’t post with no stars.

Alsciacca5I’ve been a member since 2001. I have never had issues, they have always been on top of everything especially when it came to fraudulent activity. Joann is amazing! She helped me so much in consolidating my loans and saved me a lot of money! They really try their hardest and they are very very friendly!
