      amazing company. i have purchased two homes through this bank. NO OTHER bank would qualify me but because I have banked with them for over 20 years and they can look back at my whole 3 dimensional financial history, I was able to start building financial stability as an artist. Each time I go in or call they remember me and treat me with such respect. I highly recommend banking with this company

      I have been a member of the Actor’s Federal Credit Union for over 12 years. They (unlike a bank) are here to HELP us!! And they do. I went through some terrible misfortunes and the AFCU literally saved my life. They are more like family than strictly a business relationship. They understand and celebrate, and HELP artists!! There are many of us artists who don’t have a clue on how to manage our money—- the people at AFCU have helped me with this and truly cared. I heartily recommend AFCU for those times when you could use a helping hand and an understanding heart!

      DO NOT PUT YOUR MONEY HERE! I had a savings account with them for several years and recently made a change to my account. Then with no warning, they turned it over to the state as unclaimed property where I'm in the months-long process of recovering it. IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR MONEY NOT BEING LOST, STAY AWAY!!!!!! I've never had this problem at any other bank or credit union I've used so their defenses are lame and incorrect.

      Meghan- I am sorry to hear you had a bad experience with ActorsFCU. We only turn money over to the State once an account has been inactive for three years, and only after written notice has been provided to the inactive member. This is a standard procedure that all banks and credit unions are required to follow. Again, I am sorry you had a bad experience, but your money is at no greater risk of being 'lost' at ActorsFCU than it is at any other bank or credit union.
