  I have had an incredible experience working with the Actor's Federal Credit Union. They are easy to reach by phone and email, respond quickly to all inquiries, and provide helpful guidance whenever I have questions, big or small. I joined AFCU when I was interested in buying a home and it was one of the best financial decisions I ever made! AFCU guided me through the mortgage process with clarity and ease, answering all of my questions and concerns with care and kindness. I highly recommend this credit union!

  I have been a member of Actors Federal Credit Union for many years. The staff at the New York office is and has always been friendly and upbeat. They recognize their customers. They take their time with you in offering you your options. Most recently, they were able to help me with a transaction that a major commercial bank was not able to help me with. I am especially grateful to Lissette for her calm demeanor, thoughtful understanding and knowledge. I thank all other staff members as well.

  I have been a member of the AFCU since the 1980’s. The assistance I have received from the dedicated staff over the years has been invaluable to me. I refinanced a not so great mortgage and saved a lot of money by moving it to the AFCU over 10 years ago. Thankfully I paid off my mortgage several years ago but recently I needed extra money for a debt consolidation and was helped by the mortgage department staff to refinance a small loan. Everyone I dealt with at the credit union treated me with respect and concern. Thank you to all, including Annette Strumolo, Marisol Castillo and Attorney John Kolenda! What a wonderful experience yet again!!!

  My experience with Actors Federal Credit Union has been nothing but pleasant. Everyone is very accomodating, personable, nice and extremely helpful. I have several accounts with them, and was just approved for a personal loan. They really are the best option for banking.

  AFCU knows how to take care of people! Annette went above and beyond to get our loan closed. In addition to being a true professional, she was also very kind and thoughtful throughout the process. I can't recommend their services highly enough!

  I haven’t yet taken advantage of their loans or other programs above regular checking and savings. But they’ve come a long way since I first used them 20+ years ago. As an artist in the regions (outside LA or NY) I couldn’t do much in terms of deposits and ATM withdrawals. Had to do almost everything my mail. Which intimately made me cancel my account with them and stick with a local bank. But AFCU is in the digital age with a functional app that lets you electronically deposit checks like any other bank. Their loan rates look like they cannot be beat by any major bank, and I will be with them for a long time to come. 5 stars.

  Moved from a big bank to avoid the monthly fees -- wasn't exactly sure what to expect, but the warm and friendly personnel in the Equity building office were a great introduction. The system isn't quite as slick and fast as the big bank, but everything is there, and there are 7-11s and McDonalds everywhere. Really it's 4.5 stars -- join if you're eligible!

  Quite simply, the Actors Federal Credit Union has saved my life. Twice. They are not a financial institution. They are not a bank. They are here to help those of us in the entertainment industry. They do not charge usurious interest rates. They listen. They watch out for us!! To me they are family and I am on a first name basis with those I have worked with at AFCU. Melissa, Vera, Samuella. They care. They do a great job. They make sure our “personal” show goes on. I am forever grateful.

  I just opened an account with Actors Federal Credit Union, and I could not be happier. Everything is as straightforward and uneventfully seamless as I could hope for, including bill pay, transferring between my own accounts and other members, and depositing checks electronically, instantly. And the app makes things so easy to do from my phone, from anywhere! Oh, and the fees are beyond reasonable. I’m never going back to big banks.

  When I needed to buy my first home, I was having some difficulty working with other big banks. I called AFCU and they took me in with open arms and great rates! Very kind people there. Truly love my experience.
