      This bank absolutely sucks HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TOO BANK HERE AND THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THIS LOCATION IS A COMPLETE JOKE THEY ARE RUDE AND ( THE BAG OF FRUIT OF A MANAGER ) IS A COMPLETE JOKE THEY LOST FIVE FAMILY MEMBERS THAT BANKED HERE PULL YOUR MONEY OUT NOW THEY'LL CHARGE 10$ EVERY TIME YOU TRANSFER YOUR OWN MONEY ITS MY MONEY DARN JOKE YOUS ARE!!!!!!

      This Academy Bank Location has the absolute worst customer service! I had called beforehand to make sure they would cash a personal check and of course on the phone they told me it was no problem and to come on in... Once I get there Dominique is very rude and short and tells me that because they've never seen the personal check before they cannot cash it... Could not explain to me anymore why they could not cash my check!

      After making a specific visit to a bank inside a Walmart to discuss a reoccurring charge that I wanted to stop any future charges from. The teller claimd to put a stop payment on any future charges from company making these monthly charges, I did this in late February & didn't see any charges from that company until late August when it charged my account without my permission again causing me another overdraft fee & then repeated charing me AGAIN RESULT IN A LATE FEE. Are you going to do anything to help?rerectifridiculous

      They don’t even deserve 1 star, My daughter Opened an account to start her credit. It took literally 2 hours to open it because nobody knew how to do it. Finally it was done, my daughter got her card then she received a lettter saying that she needed to provide her personal information DOB, SS#, etc. The same information that they took 2 hours to put in the computer. She went to ask about it and she was told that the letter was sent by mistake. Then her card got canceled and her account closed. It was a pre pay account she had deposited $300.00. So she went to complain and was told that they couldn’t do anything that she had to call the credit card directly . She called the card and was told that she needed to go directly to the bank. She went AGAIN. to the bank and they told us that they couldn’t do anything that the account was closed and to wait for a check in the mail. But she haven’t received anything and now nobody knows anything and this is hurting her credit instead of helping it. Is just a trashy excuse of a bank

      This is honestly the worst bank to be with . I was with them for over 8 years and loved when Michelle was manager . She was always very nice and friendly took good care of all customers . Some new manager RICO got hired and ever since he’s been there he’s always rude and just unpleasant to be around . So much I decided to end my relationship with academy and move to a different bank that values its customers more .

      Do NOT use this bank or their ATM inside the Walmart here. Something goes wrong they will treat you terribly. I made the mistake of using the ATM and it ripped me off for 360 dollars! Went in and talked to the assistant manager. They counted the ATM and despite knowing the count was off they forced me to go through a long 30-40 day dispute process through my debit card. Terrible customer service and a rotten terrible company. It reflects badly on Walmart for allowing them to remain in their building.

      Every time i shop online at Walmart grocery they freeze my account. They don't call you or text you that your account has been frozen. i called and they said Walmart is a high risk! they told me every time i want to shop at Walmart grocery i have to call them to let them know i will be shopping Walmart. so i did call them and told them i would be shopping their and they still froze my account. twice i have gone to my favorite Italian restaurant and both times my card was denied, i was so embarrassed over this and now i cant order dinner from them unless i have cash. i will be pulling all my money out tomorrow!
