  I recently came back to Academy Bank due to bad experiences at another bank. Long story short, Crissie was extremely helpful getting everything arranged. In my book, she went above and beyond the call of duty. The branch on Tejon in Colorado Springs is lucky to have her!

  If you even come close to overdrafting before a deposit completely clears they will charge you an overdraft fee. Even if you fix it within the same day they still charge you. If you try to close your account even after years of doing business with them they will charge you $25 to close your account. Do NOT bank here. Their are SO many other options that are not trying to rob you

  All I can say is Wow! I just got a call from Krissy and she is going way above and way beyond in helping me resolve an issue with a deposit I made. It's customer service like this that reaffirms why I've been with Academy Bank for 15 years!

  Academy Bank has always been understanding and willing to work with me at every inconvenient that has appeared my way. Recently my card was stolen and they was right on top of the situation and prevented a major disaster. THANKS ACADEMY BANK

  Kimberly and Chrissy who run this branch in downtown Colorado Springs are absolutely professional as well as wonderful. This was written by JD Farmer. Also wanted to say, I’ve been with Academy Bank for a very long time and Kimberly is the best bank manager I have met and worked with by far!

  All banks are trash, but this branch uniquely so. Even though they're open, they'll ignore your knocking and ringing of the locked door until a customer lets you in. Once you're in, you'll be waiting while the tellers just chat about a million unrelevant things, like we're all able to go as slow as they are. You can't trust these people to watch a door, I wouldn't trust them to watch your money.

  I had to get some papers notarized today, as well as get my account number for a new job. Not only was the woman who helped me (her name was Bobbi) quick, but she also took the liberty of explaining to me what it all was in terms of my routing number and how the notorizing worked, as it was my first time doing all this. She was very nice and helpful and as a result, most of the anxiety I had going into the situation (being unfamiliar with the paperwork) was gone by the end of it. It was all around a nice, painless experience. I'd definitely recommend this branch.

  I am completely frustrated by the customer service with Academy Bank! They closed my account, didn't send any correspondence letting me know and mailed me my money. I was at the grocery store and all of a sudden my card wouldn't work. I called the next day and they said nastily that we closed your account and mailed your money. With the lag of our mail system I was not able to retrieve my money for a week. The customer service at the Tejon branch is horrible. The teller was extremely rude, another person waiting in line felt the same way. They are reporting wrong information to the credit bureau and I am fed up with trying to work things out with them. I paid my loan off and they are not showing that in their system even though they sent a letter congratulating me on paying my loan off.

  Academy Bank Tejon is consistently my best banking experience anywhere! Benito and his team are always friendly, know me by name, and take genuine interest in what's happening in my life. They staff their branch so that wait time, if there is any, is minimal. As a small business owner, they provide customized services for the unique ways we run things.
