  I can't say enough great things about Jeff and David at A-Wise Loan. I have been working with Jeff for all of my used equipment needs , musical instruments, camera gear, pretty much anything and everything you can think of . They have always been Fair, very knowledgeable, ethical and to the point. It's the only pawn shop I've stepped foot in for the past 30 years. I don't go anywhere else.   I have visited Jeff's business about four times. On every occasion he and his staff have been very friendly, respectful and helpful. I purchased a lawnmover, an edger, a guitar, and some fishing tackle from his shop. On every occasion, I was very satisfied with the items and their cost. If they do not have what you need, they will assist you in finding that item elsewhere; great customer service. If you have not been there, stop by some time and see for yourself what a great bunch of people work there.

  I have been a customer of A-Wise since it opened. When shopping this is my first stop. I have purchased an engagement ring, lawnmower (to go with the wife), countless tools and electronics over the years. Before my last yard sale I took a trailer load of stuff to them and sold about half of it for a better price than I would have gotten in my yard. Friendly staff with great product knowledge.

  I was once in business with Jeff, the owner. He is a man of principal - an honest man who runs his business like he runs his life. It always amazed me to watch him interact with customers - they all treated him (and Jeff back) like a member of the family. He truly works to help people while working within the boundaries of good business decisions. I was lucky to have shared a business with him for 6 years, and would jump at the opportunity to work with him again.

  Decided to visit A-Wise after seeing their positive reviews. I liked heir style immediately and knew this wouldn't turn into an uncomfortable "haggle" situation. They quoted me a very fair price, I accepted and that was it. I went in having done a little research on the value of my items and they earned my trust. Highly recommend.

  I've bought many things from Jeff and A-Wise Loan over the years and have always received a fair price and good customer service. I followed Jeff from Charlotte, to Murfreesboro Road, to North First, back to Charlotte and even to Antioch, because of the service and knowledge he provides to his customers.

  I called to inquire about a hunting rifle and had planned on driving the 2 hours to get it the next day. The man that I was talking to was very rude. When he asked for my information and I told him my name he rudely interrupted and asked in a harsh tone: "Is this a woman?" I said yes. Then he proceeded to be disrespectful and told me I sounded like a man. Seriously???? Is this how you speak to your customers? After realizing I am a woman (He didn't apologize) he then talked to me like I'd never purchased a firearm before. I am a Veteran and a gun collector. I've been firing guns since I was a kid. (My dad is a gunsmith.) I was so upset I made the decision not to give this shop my business. You don't get very far being disrespectful. Mistakes happen and if he had of apologized to me then I would have given them my business.

  Sorry for the misunderstanding. Due to all the strict gun laws imposed on dealers we have to be a little more inquisitive than if we were selling a microwave. There are lots of people now trying to do straw purchases where they buy a gun for someone else that can't pass a background check. We thought you were a man calling that couldn't pass a background check that planned on sending his wife in to buy the gun for him. I'm very sorry that I offended you that was not my intention.

  They make you feel comfortable. You don't find that at most pawn shops. They are very knowledgeable and I recommend them to everyone in Nashville. Quality products and great service.
