Tom Norrell1Several years ago I changed banks to open a business account. At that time business accounts were not available at A+. I made the mistake of not closing the inactive account. Some subscription I was unaware of renewed and caused a $15 overdraft. The $15 overdraft ended up in collection. I never received anything from A+ or a collection agency eventhough I still lived and ran a business in the same small town.. I eventually found out it a few years later when I pulled my credit. I went to A+, paid the fees due and asked if they could remove the collection notice from my credit. The A+ guy said they would not object if I declared to each credit agency it was not my debt and then it would fall off. Evidently they did object to my denial, wanting to continue to wreck my credit for that $15 overdraft. Now I find myself a decade later with the collection still on my credit. It has cost me dearly over this time in additional charges on insurance and higher interest rates. I wish I could truly let them know how I feel about it. Instead I will hammer their reputation as much as I can until the end of time. Next time give a guy a phone call! You had my number.

Nelda Milligan5Today, I needed to speak to someone in loans and someone in customer service. I can't tell you the last time I've interacted with nicer people. Sergio, in loans, was helpful, patient, extremely knowledgeable and courteous. He even saved us money on our loan. He then transferred me to Natalie, in customer service, who patiently helped me reset my online info. She, too, had the same qualities as Sergio. She helped me understand all the benefits of A Plus. Thank you for employing such great people.

Thomas Wheeler1They were one of the last to go to inactive fees, but they apparently did in 2017. That's when they cleaned me out without notice after being a customer for 50+ years. These fees are absolutely ridiculous. Will not return as a customer.

Hailey Veitch1This bank has the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced, I explained my situation to Jeff over the phone and he kept telling me I had to deal with it and he couldn’t help me. My account is negative and instead of helping me not make it negative he said it’ll only get worse. Now when I requested to cancel my account he told me I had to deposit money in my account to cancel my account. How do you expect me to do that when I’m on a fixed income and I can’t get money that you took out to keep it not in the negatives to cancel my account. Never again will I recommend this bank to anyone.

Pat Mac1I had been doing business with this organization for several years. Had a line of credit with them, that was paid regularly. No missed payments. No late payments. Without any notice, they closed the LOC, which is their right...but done without any explanation. Lesson learned. No loyalties. Hope this review can help the next individual from making the mistake of choosing this place to do business with.

rania275Been a client for years and I have to say no matter the location, a plus cu is the best way of banking. Pleasant atmosphere and very friendly and helpful staff. I would not use any chain bank, always cu.
