  My wife and I were very pleased to have been referred to 1st Reliant. The whole team was great. We have refinanced our home before years ago and it took longer than expected.   My husband and I love this mortgage company. We submitted everything via email which was a convenience for everyone. We had an approval within a few days. I would have to say the hardest part for us was actually finding a house. The team went above and beyond, answering every call we made to them answering every email we sent to them and touching basis after the sale was final.

  My experience with 1st Reliant has been quite pleasurable. I’ve owed several investment homes over the years and have never written a review on a mortgage company until now. I highly recommend the whole 1st Reliant Team. They tailor to you and not the other way like most mortgage company. I never felt rushed to make a decision nor did I feel like they were trying to make a quick buck. They really care about your mortgage experience. I look forward to working with them in the future again.

  This was such an easy experience. I am not really big on writing reviews but the whole team rocks. Craig helped to guide us through our loan process patiently and professionally. We were able to close the loan rather quickly.. Both my husband and I appreciated his constant contact and his ability to keep the process moving forward.

  This wasn't my first time refinancing and in the past Ive had really poor experiences with small mortgage companies. To tell you the truth i was a bit skeptical of going with 1st Reliant. I had originally thought of going with a larger mortgage company, but right away the staff won me over. Sally always promptly got back to me via email even on the weekends and evenings. Craig helped get me the best rate. I felt like i was a VIP! Thanks! -Bob

  I am never one to write reviews but my experience with 1st Reliant has been nothing but wonderful. From the beginning Craig walked my husband and I through every step of the way. He was attentive and professional. He answered every question and made sure we really understood the whole process since we are first time home buyers. I would highly recommend 1st Reliant to my friends and family

  Craig has been a tremendous resource and support during multiple transactions. Not only did his service lead to a great rate on our purchase, we also got a great rate on our investment home last year later. Most recently Craig supported us during our refi.   We were referred to Craig Chanel at 1st Reliant for our first home purchase in Dallas, and it went extremely well. Since then we have refinanced with Craig multiple times, and we are looking to use him for our next home purchase. I always recommend him to friends, who are looking to purchase or refi. One thing that stand out is his patience in explaining the details of the transaction, the rate, or the terms of the financing/refinancing. He believes that you should have all the information with a clear understanding of the pros and cons, so that as a consumer you can make the decision that works best for you at the time. He has a very thorough knowledge of 1st Reliant's products as well as the competitor's products, and he always has his 'i's dotted and his 't's crossed. He's not pushy, and he works hard to stay on schedule to keep the process going smoothly and quickly. It's helpful to have someone on your side who is so well connected, especially in an aggressive market. In short, I would not feel nearly as confident in this market without knowing Craig has our back.
