  I have used the services of 1st Capitol Mortgage two times. Each time the process proved to be easy and painless. The requests for information from them were clear and unambiguous and as a result I was able to get all information to them concerning my finances in a timely fashion and the refinance loan was approved quickly.

  My experience at 1st Capitol Mortgage was excellent. Larry Knopf and staff worked efficiently and professionally to secure our mortgage. They were organized in requesting our documentation and were thoughtful to consider our individual circumstances instead of just pushing us through a standardized process. Mr. Knopf took time to educate us regarding mortgage products. Also, 1st Capitol Mortgage was able to secure us a lower interest rate for our mortgage than their competitors.

  The best by far! Attentive, able to explain any area of the mortgage process so that you can understand. Sincere, I think his motto must be, “Treat others as you would like to be treated.” Honest, in this day and age it’s hard to find someone in the business of “selling” a product that is forthright and trustworthy. Larry and his staff exceeded our expectations in many ways. We would use 1st Capitol Mortgage again if we ever have the opportunity to do so but we are content! Many thanks to Larry and his team! We finally have a place to call home!

  I can not say enough about 1st Capitol Mortgage. Larry Knopf and his assistant Tim Ford were there to assist and walk my wife and I thru the loan process. They took the time to keep us updated and informed during the whole thing. Our involvement was minimal as they did all the ground work and gave us time to concentrate on finding our new home and moving. Very professional, knowledgeable and articulate. I can not recommend them enough.

  AMAZING! First-time home buyer, the process was painless and efficient. Larry and Tim do an amazing job with their clients, I am blessed that my realtor friend referred me because I had went thru numerous lenders over the past few years who were terrible.   Great Experience with 1st Capitol. Larry is very knowledgeable in the area of loans. He was able to clear up and fix what two other loan officers could not do for us and got us a home loan in a very short amount of time (less than two weeks.) Larry stayed on top of our paperwork and kept us informed all along the process and answered our questions well and in a timely manner. I would recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a home.
