  I had a few credit items that needed worked on when I first contacted them, nothing major it was just a few things that needed addressed that no other lender had ever taken the time to go over and show me. They were awesome in showing me the way to improve my credit score and with me on the best product and options available when I was ready to purchase. We couldn’t say enough great things about the team at 1st Bancorp mortgage. They are our “Go-To” for any future transactions. Oh yeah - their VA home loan rates were unbeatable!!

  I have purchased 3 homes with the help of 1st Bancorp mortgage. I could not be more pleased with the level of customer service that I received on all 3 transactions. My first transaction was a relocation from another State. Since I was new to the area, the staff at 1st Bancorp handled everything for us and even recommend services to ease the stress of a move to a new area. The 2nd and 3rd transaction were exceptional as well. Communication to me is paramount in any business transaction. I was kept informed of every step during the process. My Realtor(s) have also become fans of 1st Bancorp and use them to this day. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to purchase their next home.

  Howie Coleman of 1st Bancorp was essential in the purchase of my first home. He was recommended to me through a friend when I started the process of Credit repair. Howie COACHED me on repairing my credit, and how to get to where I needed to be to become a homeowner, and then proceeded to stay in touch with me for 5 YEARS!!! When I was finally ready Howie walked me through every step and helped me purchase a home that was being sold by the owner. He helped myself and the owner navigate the entire process without a real estate agent. I cannot say enough wonderful things. This is a guy who cares about his clients. 1st Bancorp is awesome.
