      The staff at both the Riverside and Hampton branches were tremendously helpful with processing my signature loan and setting up online banking. I would like to send a special thank you to Allison Wilson from the Riverside branch for processing my auto and signature loans. I decided to proceed with the signature loan only but I was very pleased with my APR and the turnaround time for a decision. I was approved in less than 24 hours! Her banking knowledge, professionalism and friendly service made my experience even better. She helped me save a great deal of money and lifted a huge burden off of my shoulders. Thank you Allison!       Fair warning to members and new members, beware if you choose to use branch 5003 West Mercury Blvd Hampton, VA 23605 for your banking needs. The Assistant Manager Michelle Mills, unprofessional behavior shocked me to the point of tears Ha ha. I have been a member of First Advantage Bank for over 15 years and I have come to expect the professionalism that I know this branch used to provide to its members. I suffered professional neglect at the hands of the Assistant Manager 5/25/2021 This shows you that this bank is a joke, funny no reply from the owner for a 15 year member speaks volume about this wacky fraudulent bank. Chime is stress free banking closing my account and leaving the stripper looking branch managers alone. Strip Club Banking (make it rain )

      I am delighted to leave a review for 1st Advantage. I went in with some inquiries regarding my account and was able to have all of my questions answered as well as receive insight on the best way to handle my needs. My encounter was with the Branch Assistant Manager Michelle Mills and she was such a pleasure to work with. She was very polite and patient. With her listening to what it was that I thought I needed she was able to break down different products and recommend what I actually needed. The atmosphere was pleasant and very welcoming. When I have gas in my car I literally past two other locations just to be serviced at this one because of the phenomenal customer service that I receive. Not taking anything from the other locations I just already know what to expect when coming to Michelle's location.

      This bank is the worse! They will nickle and dime you. Find another credit union!

      I've had so many problems with this bank. #1 took in large deposit and the teller didn't count the correct amount. #2 Deposited money in my son's account, so a teller calls me the next day to ask me how much I deposited. #3 African American female with gold hair has the worst attitude, the skinny one . She asked me to send in both deposits at once the next time I come and my reason for doing it separate is because the tellers have a problem with following directions. #4 Did what the same teller said this time, separated the deposits but I wrote the amount on the envelope and she was laughing with another co-worker teller about it and I didn't find it funny. If you dont like your job I think you should find another. They need to do better and for these reasons I'm closing my accounts and going elsewhere.

      Unreasonable and ludicrous title release policy!! I am not a customer and never will be now. I purchased a vehicle from one of their customers who had a loan on it at this bank. My bank, not me... my BANK sent them a check to pay off the loan. Again, not a personal check but a check from my BANK itself. Still, they insist on sticking to their ridiculous policy of a 10 day hold before releasing the title to me. A 10 day hold AFTER the check clears is what I was told. Why? Maybe they think a major nationwide bank is going to default on their own check?? Now, the vehicle I purchased will sit in my driveway for over 2 weeks because of 1st Advantage FCU's inability to "think outside of the box". Their account representatives are robots who can't think critically and objectively, only restating policy that was probably made to protect this "small town" bank from PERSONAL checks bouncing. Thanks for the inconvenience!! I guess I'll just walk to work everyday since the vehicle is illegal to drive until you satisfy your Neanderthal-based 10 day hold policy and give me the title so I can get it registered in my name. I wonder if you even have the legal right to HOLD something that no longer belongs to you once the check clears and it is paid for? Hmmm... maybe I'll consult an attorney on that. I suggest you send me the title ASAP and bypass the policy you created and have the power to override.

      I bank here and its the worst cant check my account for about a week because they are down service is always rude inside horrible bank.
